Really confused why some people seem to think you need to shift+click to loot. Enough to just left-click once to loot.
Or the classic, “If you double right-click you aim thru the scope/firstperson”. Also not needed. A simple right-click and you’re in first person aim/scope/iron sight/whatever. Ofcourse if you *hold* down right button you’ll just slightly zoom in 3rd person. But a simple right-click and its first person aim.
They fixed some of the horrible english in the latest update, but they also screwed up some previously fine english. But my favorite part of the update is probably that you can now just click on the stuff on ground(close to you) to loot, no need to drag it into your inventory anymore. That’s probably more considered QOL perhaps, but very welcome one.
Overall I feel this game feels more like a Unity game. Definitely doesnt feel nor look like a UE5 game. Not saying that’s a bad thing. But I hope some of the UI gets an overhaul down the development road.
from my experience, the loose loot- the individual items just laying around, DOES NOT respawn. only the loot and food in containers and cabinets does
They did it again, Kage. At 12:23 the zombie “screamed” and called in more zombies on you. Even though there’s no sound (yet), when zombies squat and flail their arms out to the side you need to treat it like a screamer screamed in 7DTD. I think for setting up your greenhouse you may need to actually figure out which side of your base is the “South” side and put the greenhouse there. Otherwise your base will be casting shadows on it and messing with the (overly) sensitive sunlight checks for the plants.
@23:40 you can cook cans below too directly on the campfire dont need the pot and also cook them all simultaneously
You can actually craft your own well

I’m going to stop looting….5 more cans and some wine… I’m seriously going to stop looting now…. 4 more cans and a magazine. I cannot take any more of this stuff home with me!!….6 more cans and 2 wine bottles. 🤣
So boring watching building all the time rather have you learn new stuff, build it and show everyone how it works.
I’m continually amazed how good this game is…never would have guessed
Just one question from me.is it as good as scum?
@Kage848 cook the cans in the bottom slots of the campfire
Kage, can you please check if you can put a bag into your inventory. I thought I saw the bag you looted turn green at the gas station when you tried to put it in your inventory.
Food/water goes too quickly because the days don’t last long enough. Make the days last longer along with the food. Makes sense.
The tinned stuff that is going bad can be cooked and then put back into tins and it resets the freshness. There is a canning machine in the tech tree.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it but if you put a street sign down it will show on your map. Can create some ease when trying to find/remember where certain areas are.
Looks like SCUM

U can cook the cans and then re can them and it ignores the durability of the original can and starts fresh. Just a lot of work getting to the canning process
Yup to repair the bigest backpak you need tailoring 5
You dont need to drag items that are in range anymore , it has been changed so you can pick it up by clicking ( i think that allso prevents food found on ground tables and other outside of storage places from instat spoiling at least for now)
Man that cam bug is more than a problem to play it’s a bit of a bitch to watch. I think it’s making nauseous.
