Idk why so I have a ton of talents unlocked and something in my talents make my buildiables much stronger I started a new world with character and made a thatched base to just build the benches so I could build a stone/concrete and my thatched hut took like 5 wind storms and 3 rain storms and 4 lightning and wind storms and I never repaired it

Canteen and oxygen tank are fantastic. Can go a LONG time with them in their slots and not have to worry about either.

Canteen is good. So the kitchen stations have different food. You should get the T2. The T3 have 2 types, the stove uses fuel, the other don’t and it have the drinks. The drinks are awesome and easy to make. The problem is you will need to make bottles so you will need to spec into glass workstation, and it’s expensive.

So I decided to get this game. Unfortunately it hasn’t gone well so far. Seems I picked a bad day. Crappy quality control from the devs has led to alot of people not being able to play. I can a least keep watching you play until they fix it properly

you still need the cooking station for animal fat. the potbelly stove above the cooking station has other food recipes as well. you will also need the herbalism bench to make dough (wheat in mortar and pastel to make flour, flour mixed with water via water skin or canteen to make dough). these are for recipes in the tier 3 kitchen.

The build grid is set when you place the first block. It’s based on which way you are facing when you place the block. So to line up with the river, just face the direction you want the building to go, and put down your first block (usually a post). To place blocks off the existing grid, press the Free Build key (Home key on keyboard). You can overlap building grids, but bear in mind that they don’t support each other (it’s not like Valheim).

Something to bear in mind is that wood posts will serve you just as well as stone. The primary reason to use stronger posts is build height; wood posts will get you about 7 blocks high, stone 12, and concrete a whopping 17. So if you’re building a stone structure and not planning to go more than 7 blocks high, then wood posts will do just fine. You’ll save a lot of nails and leather 🙂

Kage, I TOTALLY understand the OCD with things lining up and looking balanced….
It HAS TO LINE UP….. or I will destroy it all until It is symmetrical and perfect…..
I 100% get it brother.
Watching people build bases where things aren’t cared about drives me up the goddamn wall and I usually don’t watch them do playthroughs anymore and I unsubscribe, I know…I’ve got a problem, but it’s my problem so fukk them all. 🤣😂🤣😂

Here are some tips. 1) if you have trouble telling the direction your poles are going like kage did with his bridge use a 45 degree it will tell you the direction the pole will stick off, 2.) Floor pieces take equal damage to roof pieces, 3.) The damage your building takes varies based on the direction of the stone is coming in
