Prior to launching the game in settings you can go and set up death points. I love watching new players play this game. Gunn’s drop everything, then pick what you need. Stop throwing away norcoberries. Craft some bollas, and a spy glass. Happy Arking.

Climbing picks allow you to scale walls and cliffs and such. I’d suggest making some immediately if your not gonna tame any flying dinos soon. Also if you get your speed to 200% you will never easily become anythings dinner.

Tame some dinosaurs they have numerous uses besides just something to ride. You can use them to haul gear, collect resources, protection, and many other purposes. Doing so will make the game so much easier and enjoyable for you and much more entertaining for your viewers. In all of your ark series you have never utilized them.

Bolas will stop those raptors. Tranqs to tame them. Honey will tame Andrews, no saddle needed…they’ll get you around till you can tame flyers. Blood for taming bats…they have great abilities. Keep at it.

Tips from someone with over a year in game time in ark: I wouldn’t be leveling up food or water because it’s kind of a waste you’d be better off leveling movement speed, you guys probably already realized this but pickaxe for thatch, flint, metal, and meat. Hatchet for wood, stone, and hide/chitin. And make bolas it’ll help a lot with taming by holding dinos still for you

if you guys didn’t know… you can make multiple simple beds and place them all in the same spot so it doesn’t take up so much space

You definitely want to tame some animals…they can carry WAY more resources than you can..and they can have your back!!! I wonder what would happen if you throw poo at a carno?? Gunns should try it!!!

There is a cave inside the waterfall to the right of the archway with metal at 14:33. It contains metal, crystal and oil.

You have to tame an Argy to haul stuff. They halve the weight of metal and other similar resources.
