The enemies don’t do well with circle strafe. Most have a wind-up animation which gives you time to move. Even fingers can be dodged this way.
Shotgun ammo generally comes in two varieties. You have buckshot with ranges from BB’s to larger ball bearings. Slugs are just a single… slug of metal. Slugs are better for range. Buckshot is better at shorter ranges.
The ending is alright, but it feels like there’s more to come. Like the music makes it sound like we’re majorly invested in Virginia, but it feels like the game is intended to take place across 5-10 days and our interactions are pretty limited. I’m rather curious if Virginia will end up losing her extra limbs in the cube. Hopefully, they add communication options to Virginia. It’d be really nice to be able to tell her to stay put.

Honestly this was pretty adorable with your daughter in the background but I really enjoyed the ending and have been loving this series

The hexagonal things are basalt columns. They form when magma cools quickly.
The Giant’s Causeway in NI would be the most famous instance I’m aware of.

The sound of your daughter giggling away in the background is kinda nice with the chill vibe of your videos.. though slightly odd with the game content 😅

Although the ending is obviously lacking a lot from being in early access I was hoping that Virginia was getting cured in the cube and was gonna come out normal again.

There’s pkentyyyyy of story in this game it’s just not spoon fed to you and the game doesn’t hold your hand . You have to actually look for it and put the pieces together yourself. The guy who knocks you out in the beginning was an agent for Sahara that was undercover working on site 2. All those crazy paintings towards the end show the cube in multiple dimensions. Timmy himself wrote a book about multiple universes. I won’t spoil much else but the story is def there if you make the effort to find it.

The story is kind of unsatisfying to me, probably because it’s not fully implemented yet. I feel like there are a lot of missing pieces for it to be fully enjoyed like the story of the first game. In the Forest, you found lots of different pieces that were vaguely related or unrelated, but they all came back together for the ending. There, it just kind of goes from 0 to 100 in just this cave basically. Good thing the latest update brought more story elements in the world though. Also, no idea what happened to revolver silver jacket. In my opinion, they should not have made the ending available without fleshing out the story chronologically first.

about the shotgun, theres a bug i found where if you change ammo types before reloading, it uses up the one you changed to, for example shooting 5 buckshot and changing to slugs and reloading will use up slug ammo while the 5 buckshot you fired remain in your inventory

The ending is just that, an ending, i don’t like that they don’t give any item for doing everything, surely they are going to make it worth completing, allowing for a endgame item inside the box, like the computer, maybe a futuristic weapon, an amazing thing would be to gain a small helicopter.
