im just here eating my food, keeping thoughts of your goofy base to myself, dont call me out!
Tightrope tower seems like a good design name. Though sanity tower would also work.
Call the base ” Bumblebee Tuna”
bro got the brick treehouse
Name this Base Hunters View or Hunters Lodge btw. T5 Pop n Pills is still bugged for me.. can’t find the last Zombie (the yellow dot) playing on rented server A21 Stable 🙁
I like it.
I love your base design I’m going to copy it in my next play through
So.. IzPrebuilt… regarding you base design… I´had similer problems with comming up with new types in my current game. HOWEVER i come from THIS base design.. (the one you show).. it has always been my go to… So might I? add some upgrades…. ??
1. Add 0,25 thick [0,5 high] pole-center, on its head so it floats a bit.. “most” Zombies tend to having trouble getting by it and fall. Place them ON TOP of the pole you want zombies to walk, btw its in the pole menu, its those small ones.
(neither Jawoodle, Nor GNS have picket up on this, despite me trying to communicate it.
2. i use same defensive position, but i use hatches. later with 10000 hp they reign supreme to concrete.
3. Add granate shoots, and box zombies in when they land, for better explosives.
4. You can add a piller to the 4 corners of you “center”, giving it 9 block strengt.
5. Add triangels at the top of the fighting position, so when zombs jump, they get pushed down.
6. you can support your out hanging pole, with 45-degree poles from your “center-stability block”. this will give you 3 extra block or more.
7. you can add a door, and drop the zombies. just be sure your support holds, attach on your fighting position.
8. instead of a door, you can have a pole under, (upside down),[or multiple poles], which also makes this build Explosive safe.
9. upgrade said triangel with a “pyramid”/mid line triangle so than zombies gets pushed to the side instead, than just down. (both 5&6 methods works)
10. For later: you can add a triangle, to eiter side of you base with a punch tower, with a hatch behind it for repairs.
11. Make a visuel blokker for cops so they cant shoot you, while your in the box, when they are coming up on the stairs.
12. there is a “egde” block zombies cant stand on, so they slide off. Use that to “guide” them to where you want them/push them away from you. ( some kind of, off to the side-rollorcoaster-slide off base exist on YT, also woodle has made big holes videos with same shape.)
I… like You… are trying really hard to move away from this design( the on in your vid). Because it works from lv 1 to long into the late game.
and are currently thinking of making and indestructible dropper base, stretching from groundlevel to topsoil, eiter by using the 45% poles or Jawoddles zombfree shapes to hold op the base, and let them drop down below. I am excited to see if it works, because even in berserker mode… they have noting to beat on. ( its a BIIIIIG HOLE).
Love your accent, keep up the good work. and i hope this base design will succeed for you.
I need to see a manager about all this insane base building. It is interrupting my current playthrough.
I’m going to toss this name in the hat —– Bone Steel —– why? because it sounds like the name of a ridiculous OG pron movie and that base looks very …….. “ahem” erect
Are you also going to do something different for your late game hoard base?
Base name: the finally different base 😁
“Stairway to 11”
Base names: The Infinity Pole, Destroy Everything…my ass!
If I was a zombie… I’d hit that shit.
I’m surprised by the lack of hatch abuse, especially early game on insane nightmare I tend to put a hatch in the entrance of every room that seems even a teensy bit scary lmao
The 0.0125 poles are better for the tight rope kinda base. They fall off it a lot better.
I had no idea rage mode existed until today. No wonder my old horde base design failed!
My first real horde night was back in Alpha 18 or 19. I built a fall trap base that I designed myself. Like the base in this video, but even dumber. I didn’t know how to get cobblestone at the time, so it was all just reinforced wood (back when that was a thing) and regular wood. Suffice to say, all it took was one enraged zombie to take out one of the stair supports for it to collapse, which made them climb up my entrance ladder and get me.
I’m just about to try out the base design from your tutorial vid in my first Alpha 21 world. I barely managed to get it built in time, and even then I had to make it five blocks long instead of seven to save resources. I probably would have had more time to get resources if I didn’t fail two quests by dying. I was forced to collect wood, stone, and clay in a panic on day 6 because I have no idea where the POIs that have cobble resource pallets are on Navezgane and I took the filters from completing tier 1 instead of the bike.
I believe rage mode can be negated if they say jump off a ledge on thier own. there is a wizard tower design with a walkway around the outside and diagonal catwalk railings. they always jump when they get to the catwalk railing and sometimes staggers off and fall. about 15% make it past 4 corners to your fighting position. it can be a afk, depending on height.
The game has spiral staircase objects you can build with I think, but it’s meant for fire stations so it might not be viable to be used, but the idea is that if you could create a spiral it would reduce the length needed to get zombies up the staircase and with a horde you have easier time funneling them instead of them falling off of the 1 block wide stairs or having the path blocked by the horde which causes them to enter rage mode.
