I like how the water is “fixed” but it’s still so fucky, lol
You should use the uber scaffolding block instead of glass, Then cover it with glass on the outside.
Why sco mo sco mo?
You are seriously the GOAT Josh!!! Good on ya mate!
First underwater base of alpha 21
Maybe 2 hatchdoors on top and botttom? Would that stop the water? Probably not but wonder if someone has tried yet.
Wonder if you can use a steel hatch into a small corridor leading to a second internal steel hatch.
Open water side hatch, enter and close hatch, open internal hatch to living quarters, enter and
close hatch. Same idea they use in subs and in space for entering and exiting.
Zombies spawn in water now so underwater bases aren’t zombie proof.
Zombies swim down to you if your under water, quoted this before watching video
I wonder if they fixed some things since I tested this, because I definitely couldn’t get it to work. GG Dude.
Good shit Gary.
By the way bwwn watching you for a few years and I am amused your favorite digging tool is an AK-47. Supprised you haven’t upgraded to the m 60😊
a moonpool
Horde base next??
They should make another skill point section specifically for water once they get that fixed I think that will be a good not sure how that would work but it would be cool
I took at look at this and it looks like there might be two types of water blocks. a “source” block and a “flow” block. If you fill in a block of flow and there are no adjacent water block then the block will turn to air when the block is removed but source blocks appear to stay present no matter what. if you fill them in, they will reappear after the block is gone and you can’t empty them out with a bucket. In game I filled in some water with frames and the only different the game notes is that frames in a source water spot have a deco of NoBigNoSmall but a frame that is in “air” is listed as Everything. Not really sure what this means. It does look like it is possible for new source blocks to be created but I couldn’t find any way to destroy them.
What about the scaffolding ladder under water as a water barrier?
Omg this kinda build is pointless now. What a mission to build
The secrete seems to be that every space has to be taken up by a block, so if you want a room that is more than 2 blocks tall, you’ll need to use pillars to fill up the space. The code seems to work to “fill” all of the “Water” blocks on every tic or second (I haven’t tried just yet)
It’s very obvious the Water fills UPWARDS every time 🤣🤣
