Ladders where there when you opened the menu. Under guardrails. But they disappeared the second time you looked so I’m not sure now.
Also, just letting you know, it does snow in spring sometimes irl. Don’t know how that’s set in the game.
*** Yes, I agree, I don’t know where to put all the stuff either. Obviously in storage boxes but I need a larger base. I guess it will have to be that way.
Eventually, you’ll be able to make a well (look in the tech tree, I believe you need a drill) and then a 500 liter water tank for your water supply.
If you look at the bottom right of the screen when you’re placing the corner stairs, it says “G Turn snapping on/off” might that help with the snapping..? 😀

Some how i fliped my car on its side and can not flip it back to its wheels
With my horde base I make a 2×2, add second floor, have railings round the edge. Then I place 2 more foundations on 1 side and build 2 upright beams, and 2 cross beam coming out to them. This is my bridge. Then I build another foundation for the bottom of the ladder/stairs for my way up. Then i place spikes all around, and a couple rows with a gap in front of the stairs. It works pretty well. You can build walls on the ground floor part to stop them going underneath. I built a 3 story base this way out of stone. I think it was 3×2 though, with half stone wall instead of railings on the second floor. It works a treat. There’s sometimes some that get below you where you can’t shoot but you can just go down and finish them off.
I think the shovel off option in the planters might take the seeds back
The generator is in the industrial area by the fuel trucks with the white roofs on the ground I saw it on game edge video
I would put a walkway over the spiles, and remove it on horde night
the first barn you went into back left corner there are a bunch of white sacks containing a lot of seeds
Jump the gap and have a door further back. But do a double door so if the zombies do jump over, they have to get through one door and then another door
In the real world scenario, you can dig down and you will eventually have ground water deep into the hole, you then leave the hole for about an hour and you can scoop the cleaner water out. You have to make sure the hole is covered though so that insects don’t lay eggs in the water, you also need to boil the water to sterilise it. If you fit a plastic roof over the cooking pot, you can condense the steam and collect more water
Anyone know of a way to keep real players out of your base in multiplayer servers?
