Soon, may be too late. After the last big patch, which I feel was horrible, my server lost so many people we shut down. Too many changes that aren’t necessary while either not fixing or removing things that didn’t need. I know this game is early access but I’m not sure who will be left to play in years down the road when it’s considered done.

Yea but you have to buy gas from a gas station 😤 this game is far from what it was and should be im putting this game down and wont be coming back sadly. Ive put 500 hrs into it and loved it. Haven’t played in over year its just too fucked up and I hate the traders 😭 terrible idea just a gimmick

I love the concept and the foundation of what SCUM is. This game has so much potential. The problem I am seeing is they need to build a solid PVE foundation and they need to focus on that.

What I am finding and what I am sure many are as well… is the lack of “hook” to want to log in and progress in the game. Right now… a few days and you have your base… your gear and then… crickets. Quests, meaningful skill progression with perks, long term goals to achieve based on quests and survival. Sorry to say the game just does not hold on to people the way it should be. Its fun for the first couple days then you just find yourself struggling to want to log in as there is nothing meaningful to do… and the game has the foundations to provide that. They just need to focus on finding their hook and implementing it.

They need to ask themselves “What made players log in consistently to games like WoW, RDR, EVE, ARK, etc etc etc”. They all have one thing in common… progression progression progression.

As well… and I hope they do this with the new AI and monsters… but make them so there is meaningful combat. Right now as it stands… the AI is basically one dimensional. You either do not want to engage without being able to block yourself off from them and put them into a shooting gallery… or you can’t engage them at all without dying (mechs). This is not fun… not fun what so ever.
