at 9:50 you said if someone griefs you or kills kelvin, you just need to restart session. my kelvin was killed by cannibals and he is dead dead… wont respawn on my multiplayer game.

Build holders near your build site and tell Kelvin to fill them while you go explore. He’ll work on it without interruptions while you’re gone and fill however many you built before resting if you’re gone long enough.

companions so far are the muscle and the farmer. Who would we get next? a medic or a scavenger? would the scavenger would probably go fetch ammo or fuel or something?

You can absolutely fish on the beach. You need to go right up to the point were your forced to start swimming. you’ll find plenty of fish.

I found the mountain spawn the easiest. You don’t freeze as such, it’s a stamina debuff, doesn’t affect health at all. The stream immediately next to the crash site is a fish spawn and there’s a cave nearby further up the mountain that drops some loot including a can opener and cat food. The negatives are, less trees, sticks & leaves.

Also I’ve rarely seen cannibals in the mountains so I think you’re less likely to be attacked up there.

I’ve never seen a game receive so much praise and attention and yet be so empty and bland. The survival mechanics are meaningless, you can complete the game without doing any building or “survival” what’s more is that the whole time you feel like something interesting is around the corner because where else is the game? And yet its totally lackluster and underwhelming when you do find something. It almost feels like a demo of a game in alpha, like a proof of concept.

i found the re-breather and the stun gun just running around and seeing the cave icon. Is there someplace to get in on the other side of the wall that shows the creeper by stun gun? i ran around the area but didnt seem to see anything. i havent found shovel yet and im tryin so hard NOT to wiki it cause then the game will be dead if i just look everything up. but the game doesnt seem like it has anything going on to hit to a lead or a reason to go anywhere to find any of this stuff. the 3 green and purple markers certainly helped get me in an area to loot about ( i missed the big axe by flash light dude at first cause it blended in) i kinda feel lost as to what im even doing cause nothing out there uless u just walk around for ever and happen to find a cave. no buildings to peak curiosity or anything.

Dumb question. Building a home, have the mats but it doesn’t seem to let me switch from logs to stone. It shows that it looks like the e button but when I hit that it doesn’t seem to work. Am I missing something?

I think there’s something wrong with the enemy AI in this game. They’re always harassing you and they always keep coming back it’s really annoying. There should be like a more obvious reason or a trigger for why they harass you so that you can avoid it at times

Like I’m 1:30 in and noticed your thumb is HUGE and doesn’t grip the GPS, and a GPS without North is ummm dumb. BTW how do you charge the GPS? does it go flat? Survival my ass, if the first game wasn’t so great this game would get smashed in reviews.

There are hotkeys. Just hover over the item and hold the number. You will see the number appear in the box above the item. Note this only works for certain things like the weapons.
