The zone coming in so fast and hitting as hard as it does makes the POIs that are on the outer side of the map basically impossible to loot up and rotate without storm being on your ass.

theres no way that is true coming from that guy talking about sbmm, i can go a week without winning a pub game and still be put up against masters/preds or just cracked pub stompers every game but where is this sbmm for those players? do they get harder games because they win like 10 games a day or drop 10 kills every game? i think not.

Up until season 13 I barely saw 20kill or 4k damage badges as a lower ranked casual player. Now it is a daily thing and often multiple times daily. Game is still fun, but getting steam rolled and/or having teammates who don’t know where the w key is it’s annoying.

Just because he and hideouts is OK with it doesn’t mean the community will ever be OK with it, this dude needs to bow out graciously or own up to it l. He had to have been aware 3 times come on…I hate the ring changes and I think alot of it has to do with the map…they closed off so much of KC that it makes the ring closing so much worse. And how it filters everyone to one area soooooo quickly as well doesn’t help anything. I’m now forcing myself to stop trying to fight until first ring closes unless I’m already in ring because I don’t wanna be fighting in it then get camped at ring edge. I’ve gotten soooo many kills because of storm this season.

That matchmaking design is very exploitable though no? I mean you want to absolutely destroy, just act like a bot for a couple matches then go in like a sweat and destroy the entire lobby since the algorithms will match you with bots. Quick farming for badges or am I not understanding what those devs meant?

Glad to see Hideouts putting streamers in their place in regards to trying to call out Respawn for “protecting cheaters”. Unless you work in that particular department of that company then you should keep your mouth shut and just stream the game they created that is making your lifestyle possible. Just my 2 cents on it

Their explication for solo q players is rubbish. Rarely ever get mates with a similar sense/skill. Some days getting top 10 without ratting is almost impossible. Often think playing pubs without auto fill would be less frustrating.

I don’t believe giving heat shields is the fix a team having 6 heat shields off start means they can camp and so can every other team tbh I think the change to how fast the ring decides to close un was unnecessary the damage increase was enough to incentivize players to get the freak up and haul ass during round 1

as a long time player hit diamond multiple times i just stopped playing apex due to the matchmaking cant ever que up solo and have fun anymore 99% of my games solo que is just me and my under leveled under skilled teammates going against 3 stacks cant tell them nothing about strategy to win so they run off die blame me i die cycle repeats an i know the solution to this sometimes is to squad up but more recently there’s time when even that doesn’t work running into people with 50,000+ kill squaded up just feeling like fodder to the big fish is not fun I don’t want to play 50 games to win once I don’t care how competitive it is out there I’m not in the ALGs so why do pubs feel like it? my solution i quit just not fun anymore too sweaty will miss it but what can you do when the devs don’t listen.

Pro players should not complain that their pub matches are sweaty, they are pros for a reason an should be playing players with similar skill levels. Fk them wanting to run around an just wipe a whole lobby of less skilled players. I think thats why alot either cheat or use strike packs cause they are so fed up with having to face players with much higher skill ceilings.

“Pubs are hard” doesn’t seems to me a reason to complain , being in lvl 19 and play vs master and preds… Yes thats a good reason to.

The matchmaking should look for people with similar skill level and not a way to make my game easier or harder, especially on ranked. I use pubs to have fun/ warm up / try to meet players that have a play style and skill level so I can go with them ranked because I’m a solo queue and it sucks
