J, I really need you to explain this to me cause this just isn’t clear to me. What EXACTLY is the issue with the SBMM?

All the top players want their lobby to be full of bots so that is easy for them and they don’t have to try. At the same time, all the lower level players want to be placed in lobbies without these top players. How can they possibly fix it both ways?

Either the top players are happy running through bot lobbies while the bots are getting brutalized or the bots are happy cause they aren’t matched with master/preds and the top players cry cause they have to sweat. How or is possible to fix it both ways?

I want ranked games to feel like ALGS. If everyone in my lobby is around my rank it should feel competitive, but as a solo queue gold getting stomped by diamonds EVERY GAME it’s just frustrating, nothing feels balanced. It feels like I only exist to be destroyed by better players thus leaving no room for me to get better. Plus nobody seems to care about the smurfs later in the seasons. It’s just not a fun game anymore unless you’re already amazing at it. Sucks bad man

I play Solo Duos, I constantly run into 2 Masters on a team just holding hands and popping 2 ults to kill me. Then they have the audacity to T bag after the kill.

this season I started to just no fill now whenever I solo que, after 3 years of this outlandish matchmaking I just decided to give up playing with randoms. I get less dubs, but playing alone allows you to focus on improving yourself and you get much better game sense since you can’t rely on anyone but yourself. Sure getting triple teammed is frustrating/unfair at times, but there is no better feeling than absolutely dogging on an entire squad by yourself. Maybe try it out, im just so fed up with randoms after 3 years, it’s just not worth getting mad over at this point.

I notice that whenever I take a few days break from the game, the first lobby is usually a bot lobby. There’s def a scientific way to game this matchmaking to your advantage, but ehhh.

I told you before the season start cutting expectations by half was giving them way to much credit. They are to stubborn to listen to the fans and fix everything on a new engine to give this game some breathing room to grow and improve but they love being stuck in the past working with outdated technology and with buggy software

Meh. I don’t really care about Facilitator. Why are people so salty over a guy who played with a cheater? And one that was apparently his brother. If your good friend or brother was cheating would everyone honestly be like “nah bro, we can’t be family anymore aye, some dude called HisWattson might get grumpy at me and throw another tantrum on Twitter”.

It cracks me up when big streamers and pros moan about getting pub matches with other streamers and pros. Like “oh no I can’t insta pub stomp”. Not saying there isn’t a problem but I rather they focus on Ranked first.

As for the storm changes, I don’t think they’re a problem. You just need to be more aware. Would have expected people would try to not get in extended fights at the edge of the map off drop but definitely doesn’t seem to be the case. It’s a risk, engage and risk losing even if you win the fight. Having said that it’s only 3 damage, so while it’s a noticeable difference it’s manageable.

So my thoughts on SBMM are it needs a change. I have 13,000 lifetime kills. I work a full time job and literally all I see are masters and preds with 100k plus kills 4k 20 bombs. It’s extremely frustrating.
