Idk if it’s because I come from cod. But I started playing apex last July (2021) and I LOVE IT. I sort of find the apex community whiney after coming from cod. Apex does seem to mostly listen to the community. There’s bugs yes but what game doesn’t. They don’t happen too often to me enough that it’s a problem. And I probably game apex 30+ hrs a week. So I question the people making a bug out to be making the game unplayable for them. Pubs and ranked are super fun. The ranking system is the best I’ve played outside of maybe Val. Love the seasons, the occasional LtMs, the grind for skins and camps etc… idk apex is great. It can do better but it’s in a good spot.

Separating the community to ‘gamers who needs to be heard’ and ‘foolish gamers that don’t play apex every single day’ is disgusting. Average players like me would actually like smaller ttk, faster death-revive time and separation with YOU, the pro guys who is using apex for money. Matchmaking with sbmm was so much better, when the game would actually give you the enemies you deserve.

Man screw limited time modes, give us permanent modes BR is getting too repetitive it has always been but they aren’t putting quality content they are solely killing the game

limited time events take time and money, and much like special menu items, they are designed to spike interest in the game/restaurant, to increase revenue during the next stretch of content drought. its just business.

Day 1 player, used to religiously play this game but now I just don’t enjoy it nearly as much. I think the lack on content could be overlooked if the moral of the community was higher. But the server issues/bugs along with the abysmal matchmaking really kills it for me. I’d honestly enjoy the game so much more if server/audio issues were solved, and I didn’t have to sweat my balls off every game. I know these expectations are brutal for a billion dollar company though.

I kept thinking that the matchmaking was broken, but it’s working exactly as intended. The game isn’t skill based, it’s engagement optimized. If you lose a bunch of games in a row, you’re more likely to stay on to try to get the win. The game purposely matches you with teammates worse than you to keep your win rate artificially low. If you solo queue, you know exactly what I’m talking about. I just never realized it until I got better at the game but kept the same stat results. I end every season with about the same K/D regardless of how much better I’ve gotten because I mostly solo queue.
This season has been the worst for me. Nearly every single game I’ve played was with teammates that barely even shoot if at all and I’ve been playing since season 9.. I started blocking teammates that did 0 damage in a game because I thought the game worked properly.. turns out, in a free to play game, you’re the thing being gamed. Which sucks cocka. I love the game, I love the flow, I love the gun play, I love the challenge, but I hate being artificially held back on the off chance that I spend money on some skins for that dopamine I should be getting from winning fair matches.

I’m sorry but once you have reached masters. You need to be placed on a separate server group. So that the only people you will see in both pubs and ranked are masters or higher. They also need to make a training mode where you can drop into a match with a bunch of bots and have fun fragging out. So that the new players have away to actually learn to play the game without getting fed to veterans.
