I feel that people have to forget about controller aim assist, I guarantee you if the people who complain about aim assist and controller never knew that aim assist existed they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference and wouldn’t complain. I feel like the people who play this game tend to blame shift them being bad to other factors. Instead of wondering why they were moving alone in the open after dying they just look at the death recap see that the guy is on console and blame aim assist. If you go into fights thinking you’re gonna get controllered then thats the first thing youll think about when you die. Yes it is powerful but there is a reason that it exists.

Arenas is literally pointless its battle royale with 2 teams, smaller maps and super fast ring that forces you to do stuff you dont want to do and if your team dies forget about it your dead pretty much.

They could just add m&k support for console like cod and fortnite and many other multiplayer games .it’s not unfair if you are going into pc mixed plat lobbies . Besides it’s been done before and no complaints sooooo

TLDR’s:
*Movement Tech:* It’s not new movement players just been trying to find uses for it and both controller and mnk can do all-be-it controller players not so much because it’s preferable with lurches…
*Aim-assist/movement debate:* Give us cross progression, L3 to do lurches on controller, MNK support if they wanna play MNK on their console, option to enable moving while looting creating a controller skill ceiling in both looting and movement, and next gen 120hz and adjusting aim-assist to be more even long range and close range and equal to PC values.

That guy moving on the little target boards is called Coyote jumps no supergliding or anything
Basically if you walk off a ledge, in this case slide, you have like half a second to still do a jump. This was put in the game both titanfall and a lot of other movement games just to make the game more smooth when it comes to jumping off platforms so you dont have to be TOO precise with it. However with Apex/Titanfall it works a bit different since the jump that is used from the coyote jump is also affected by your downward momentum so it’s basically like doing a tiny in air hop instead (btw this is available on both MNK and Controller just wanted to say)

The zig zagging of it is not really possible on *console* controller just because it obviously use lurches, but this is honestly possible without utilizing any type of scrollwheel tapstrafing all-be-it you may need to double tap some inputs to conserve a lot more momentum, it’s really nothing *unique* per-se but it’s pretty cool but niche since you have to be fighting near a fence/wall type area to do it like this… So i really don’t think it’s too special

Honestly most movement techs are just niche and not really gonna affect a gun fight when aim-assist will do that, BY THE WAY I’M A CONTROLLER PLAYER SO I ABUSE MY AIM-ASSIST NOT TRYING TO TALK DOWN TO YOU, but to be honest aim-assist is needed on controller but I personally do believe it is a bit overtuned if they would give them more aim-assist long range and less close range and just allow for people to change looting to Dpad and allow for moving while looting and make L3 input lurches IN ANY CAPACITY, and give them MNK support and 120hz for next gen (do this all with cross progression and make the aim-assist equal for everyone) just to make it more on an even playing field i would just love the game a lot more

Ooh PWEASE NERF CONTROLLER ThEY GET To hAVE SOME MOBILITY AND I SHOULd HAVE THAT NOT THEM. And immediately it gets nerfed for us controller users
no srsly nerf it and get rid of it I have no sympathy for the pc players that think things fair over controller players. We complain about the unfair advantages pc players have and nothing gets done.
This is one of many reasons why I am not touching apex for at least a month.

Ragtagg is the sole reason I play Apex in the first place. I remember I was scouring the internet after an argument with my parents. I was feeling pretty down and I noticed his video in my suggestions. One video in and his storytelling hooked me in. His humor cheered me up and started my 2 year commitment to Apex! I completely disagree with the movement argument. I think they should leave it. Tap strafe is a really fun mechanic and it’s simple enough for people to learn it in around 20 minutes. It’s harder to do in controller but honestly it’s not that hard. I’ve seen console/ controller players have better movement than most pc players.

Tap strafing has no place in the game. Its not intended, its an exploit, and the pros don’t need it to show that they’re good.
