I think a lot of the master players on console have a strikepack and some preds in a 1v1 against a pred or a master I can win maybe not every single time but I can but the ones with a strike pack I stand no chance against I know if they got a strike pack because of the amount of damage I do to them before they kill me and spectatting in a fight with a masters or a pred even if I didn’t know they was there I can Normally turn and get some damage on them but someone with a stike pack it’s over I can’t do nothing I was thinking about getting one but since they are actually going to start cracking down on it I don’t need to I’m already good at the game I’m not the best but I use my brain in fights so I am not easily killed but I wanted to get one because I still wanted to play apex and it was irritating me that I couldn’t because of cheating weirdos that wish they was good btw I have to say I really like watching your vids they are really good you make me want to play apex even though matchmaking and the game itself don’t want me to lol

I’m sorry adding more options to report is not fixing the problem. The responsibility should not be on the players to find and report the cheaters. We are not paid to stop cheaters for respawn. The people who are paid and work for respawn, hideouts, need to develop or incorporate a system that automatically detects and removes cheaters. And talking crap online to the people who play their game is ridiculous. These people are obviously incompetent and should be fired for multiple reasons.

Here’s what people don’t seem to realize. Strike packs are hardware not software meaning that it won’t be picked up by any anti cheat known to date right now and it also register in the game as a controller input. So for example the one in the clip just appears in apex end as someone with a fast trigger finger (which is possible) and the anti recoil appears as someone pulling there stick down (which is possible). It just pretty much acts as a hardware device making movements for you. The only thing I can see them catching people for is using extra aim assist or full aimbot. Also than it will come down to how can you tell if someone just using them for affordable paddles or to actually cheat if it inputs the same way either way. It gets way too technical and that’s why there won’t be a fix anytime soon. I know it’s an advantage but in comparison to hard game breaking cheats is way to petty to even actively begin investing in a solution for it since the advantage are often minor hence why no gaming company looks to solve the issue.

Wayyyy back when cross play was implemented we bitch about strike packs and one guy or Reddit I think had a dev respond to it and say there was no way they could detect it. No recoil, rapid fire, more aim assist strike packs do it all. Easiest way to to assume someone is using one is single fire flatline like the video and if it’s mid to late game with a 301 or R99 with no barrel stabilizer on them. Why? Because the software only runs on a stock gun with no barrel, you have to load up and program in the weapon to the button you want to eliminate recoil on. You can have two weapon programs (or at least that was as many as you use to have) for the 2 buttons on the strike pack. Guaranteed at least half if not more of Predators on both consoles will be banned if they do find a way to detect it. I’ve taken basically a year off from Apex because of strike packs killing me.

Most generic PC controllers or PS4 and Xbox controllers made by different companies have what we call turbo allows you too perform one action button constantly without keep spamming it example the semi-auto pistol which is single shot get spam at it’s fastest setting with you just holding the trigger while turbo function is assigned too it

I jumped on this evening to check out the freebies in the event tracker and ended up playing for about an hour. Game crashed three times, I had countless no regs on my shot guns in Armed and Dangerous, for some reason Sheila no longer works in my game and my character just puts her away every time I try to fire her and pubs lobbies are still overrun with masters three stacking who aren’t playing the broken and cheater filled ranked lobbies. Strike Packs are the least of this games problems. The game is currently unplayable trash.

I just don’t know how strike packs/Zen could be detected as it’s coming in as controller input rather than mods installed from the PC side. It would have to be highly intelligent to know the difference between a human (which can learn to defeat recoil as well) vs artificial input the strike packs contribute. I would think it’s easier to track anti-cheats that crack down on code that embeds itself in the PC that mods the game. Speaking of anti-cheats, mobile is ruled by cheaters running the software on mobile emulators on PC with a ton of hacks. it’s insane how destroyed that game got by cheaters.

Strike pack mimics controller inputs. The Flatline clip is the pack mimicking a fast trigger finger. Anti recoil mimics a downward pull on the right thumbstick.

Its nothing you can’t do anyway. After testing one out I came to the conclusion that they help you not think about some things while in game but honestly just meh.

Cronos Zen is the actual issue, not the strike pack. Gives you way more options than a preset recoil control or trigger finger.
