Interesting vid as always! TBagging has always been seen as a “insult” and been frowned upon in many different games, but also it’s done by many players in casual game play, with that being said I do understand where they come from when you are talking about tournaments and seeing that gaming has become a sport, you have too look @ sportsman’s conduct and ethos. My question is though, was no tbagging set out in the code of conduct rules? You can go and look at any sport, in casual games things might be let go but on a bigger stage frowned upon. Remember these pro’s are looked up too by a lot of kids and that’s where this becomes a problem when you are trying to build a community that is inclusive of everyone with no prejudice. With that being said, I think a outright ban is a bit much and maybe a warning with a kick from that match with a warning would have been better.

As for nerfing Seer/legends, I don’t get it… I like playing with Seer these days, switching over from Bloodhound, but that has not made me a better player or made me win more games or get more kills. You cannot judge a legend by the 0.5% of best players absolutely destroying with them. Instead of nerfing legends, how about working on those that need something to become a better pick or at least on the same level. There are a few legends that really need some love, like Lifeline, Mirage etc.

And then there is the gold knockdown shield, the solution, for me anyways, seems simple. Don’t nerf it, cause it already takes an eternity too selfres, but rather disabled them when the squad count reaches 5-10 squads left. That way you will not have the end game situation but can still be helpful in the game. Just my 5 cents…

My suggestion for LVL 4 Knockdown shield nerf
A: Only be able to self-res IF a different teammate is alive and standing.
B: Lower the droprate of LVL 4 knockdown shields.

Option B is a very lazy way of nerfing it, but I sadly think that’s the way they will nerf it. Maybe even a mix of both would be good

Have the gold KD shield only be usable if one other team mate is up and not knocked? If they begin to revive themselves before the last player goes down, then they can finish it but if they stop, they die?

I don’t understand why this is still a debate. The fix for the gold knock is simply having it only work when you have a teammate still standing.

Seer main here so my thoughts on the nerf are biased
Don’t nerf him, tweak him, his tactical is fine, you are able to dodge it, his ult is fine, you just need to crouch or stand still, a newer seer will throw their ult out in the open so you can shoot it. It’s his passive that is extremely strong. If respawn wants to nerf seer they will need to look at his passive.

Other then that, seer is in a good spot. It takes a few games to learn where to put his ultimate so that way you can get the most out of the utility it brings. Same with his tactical, you learn when to save your tactical and when to use it so again, you get the most out of his kit. The biggest reason why people are screaming seer is op is because they are watching people like hiswattson and forget dat and seeing seer being used to his full potential.

For an average person who plays apex, seer fits a very niche role in the squad, similar to gibby. Seer is very team orientated and his abilities require alot of team communication and strategy in order to master. This is something not many people have the time to do, they would rather play someone who is simple to use but also benefits the team, ie bloodhound.

This is exactly what rampart is currently going through too, she got buffed heavily, pros started testing her out. Hey guys! We should nerf Rampart! Her walls are OP because they are being built faster!.. I only make this comparison to show how one sided some of the debate around the seer nerf is. If you want to be as good as hiswattson or aceu or forget dat, practise with seer and practise with him ALOT. Learn how seer’s mechanics work, learn when it’s the right time to press q, learn where the best spots are with his ult, learn how to play him and really sink some hours into him, hopefully then you can see why seer doesn’t need to be nerfed, but more so just tweak.

The right solution for these items is having devs that I actually know how to code them differently for competitive matches. They’re fine in pubs. Remove them from competitive only. Problem solved.
