6:32 The problem with changing ranked from pubs is that the more differences they have, the harder it is to get into ranked. While this may seem like a minor change, it opens the door for more and more changes in the future, eventually making it very difficult for casual pubbers to transition to ranked.

For this season I would have just worked on fixing the base game, for example:
– less minimizing to the task bar
– crashes
– installing more servers so that more people can have a better experience
There’s always Season 15 for a new legend, changing the meta, ring etc.
Personally, I don’t care too much there’s a new legend, or there’s some new meta on some guns and some legends. I appreciate more a stable game than Valk doesn’t fly as high as before, Vantage, the ring closes faster and does more damage.

I just want to stop disconnecting from the game and the servers to stop being laggy. Also some of these latency glitches they really suck🥲. I just want to be able to destress on apex and play but recently I can’t even play.

Some things that Pros want may be good, but most stuff that they have pushed through in the last few season were so incredibly stupid that they ruined the fun of the game. And to half of the changes, they quickly come to the realization that in their eyes those ideas were HORRIBLE and then they complain again. Looking at Ranked Reloaded here.
The fun aspect of R6 and Overwatch have been ruined because of the pros, how dare the ones of Apex let this happen here too?

The only thing I want apex to do is make 2 separate loot pools 1 for casual (pubs/ltm and more) and another loot pool for the competitive side of apex. Thatll be the first step to making thing more calm between the casuals and the pros

Maybe Respawn should just make Apex a game where you pick your loadout and your spawn location and it’s a fairly small final circle and everyone can play like they do in ALGS so that we all have the same experience and maybe we’ll all want the same buffs and nerfs.

What’s unfair is when you’re in Bronze and you see those sparkly dive trails from last season. Or when your random ranked team mates do a dumb thing and you end up in 11th place and lose all that RP. Why am I in Bronze? Because I was Plat 1 in Season 12 and gave up playing ranked (and pubs) after two weeks in Season 13.

The pros want it to be all about cracked movement and aim. The rest of us want equipment and abilities that do something meaningful. Look at Titanfall. Everything is viable. And it’s easy for a casual to perform cracked plays due to how powerful guns and abilities are. It didn’t feel like you had to grind 8 hours a day before you could start having fun. If you played the campaign, you’d have enough practice to be good and have fun in multiplayer. They need to think about that. There’s no fun in getting dunked on off drop and getting sent back to the lobby. WHich is why Control was so good: you could at least get a kill or two in.

The real issue here is that a majority of the Apex pros are constantly talking down to the casual player base and immediately dismissing their opinions. The fact of the matter is that pros do complain too much and ignore the fact that the changes they ask for usually aren’t shared by the larger community. They want changes catered to their Apex experience which isn’t the experience the rest of us are having.

I love the removal of the gold knockdown. It means I don’t need to die to 3rd party while trying to get through a dead person’s shield. Pubs or ranked I prefer it. Almost never get a revive off.
