I have put like 2200 hours into this game, so here’s my opinion about the season and this game:
– I actually like the meta this season, it feels like you can use any gun you want depending of the situation. The Eva is back to OP so that people can take it over the PK sometimes, there are like many mid-range options now since they decided to nerf the Spitfire so that bots could stop being braindead. I still miss the Kraber dealing enough damage to the head to one-tap anything, should’ve been left as it was in pubs.
– The map rotation is kinda good until Storm Point goes up in pubs. This map should’ve been gone instead of Olympus
– The Legend meta is kinda good, I like the idea of Legends countering each other but let’s hope it won’t be rock-paper-scissors. But finally Gibby got a straight counterplay now. Horizon got overnerfed tho.
– Ranked should have placement just like what they did with CS:GO, so that things are more even for everyone. Smurfs would still be an issue but they should make it so that it detects when someone is on a Rank they don’t belong in. Also make Ranked exponentially harder the higher you climb, like actually. Gold should be the average rank, Plat above average and Diamond a good rank.
– Also can they fix their servers and put more efforts into LTM’s, tournaments being more accessible and having higher cashprize and even more QoL changes if they can?

As much as the pros want to say it’s not true he is speaking facts. 98 percent of people in the comments agree to. They do complain to much. And when they get the change they want they don’t like it and want it to do back. You have to be crazy to think pros have no sway over apex.

JMeyls hella flipflops on his take on the lucky chappy situation. The pro players have proven that they dont always know whats best for the game in the past so i for sure stand with lucky chap. The pros want changes to be made that benifit them and their pro matches. The pros just be ruining shit and dont even know it. self centered assholes

So I have to agree with something HisWatson said “when the pros want things taken out they want it taken out of ranked only not in pubs because none of them care at all about pubs but only about the health of ranked.” I do think though the pros don’t fully know what they want because these past couple of seasons it seems every time they complain about something they turn around right after the change and want it changed back again.

#3: I can’t say it enough – this whole thing is on the Devs and not on the pro-players or the casual community. Until they can learn to program different playlists for pubs/ranked/comp, these problems will persist. Fortnite comp is completely different than their pubs – why can’t Apex do this?

Pros are trying to change the game to fit them and pro play matches, If you’re gonna be very honest the game is not formed around a casual player is it. Call of Duty modern warfare tmorpho 2 had 1 shot sniper rifles at 1 shot it didn’t kill the game did it, Think about it they’re crying about a gold knockdown, How does it benefit a casual not to have a gold knock down ,it’s for the benefit of the pros. Pathfinder was fine in season one. But the pros said it was ruining the game. Alot if they change doesn’t benefit anyone but them.

I agree with chappy,mostly🤷‍♂️ Pros do whine really quickly if anything affects their little world even just a tiny bit. Take Valk for instance. Did any casual player really have much of an issue with her? Yeah her jet packs got her out of trouble but isn’t that the point? If I think she’s that “OP” then I’ll go play her but she wasn’t really an issue for me🤷‍♂️
They complained about ranked, it got changed to cater for them and it turned into a steaming pile of 💩 that a large % of players couldn’t get out of gold/plat ranks as it was simply silly. Guess what, the pros complain about their complaint as they’ve now got nobody to play with as no one can get to their ranks and the player pools almost non existent up there so they complain and it it gets changed again and they moan again.
Maybe now the games making billions in profit the devs can make an option to go into “pro” ranked game where all their moaning changes are implemented and tested BEFORE enforcing it on the 99% of the rest of the player base.

What works for a super high skilled pro doesn’t mean it’s going to be a good change for almost the rest of the entire games core players

I honestly hate the nerfs that they did for Valkyrie Pathfinder horizon like stop.. match making has sucked from day one.. Like why am I facing 3 stack predators when I have. I just started yesterday Timmy on my team lvl 13 like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh…. like I’m out
