This maybe a hot take but I really liked the New Ranked System from S13 Stormpoint. It made ranked alot more sweaty and grind based in the later ranks for sure (everybody frags out in Bronze to Silver no matter what system we have tbh lol).

If anything, I think Ranked should be more rewarding. Grinding Ranked can be fun sometimes sure, but I never quite felt rewarded when getting into higher ranks. A paltry badge with a gun charm and a dive trail just feels so nil compared to getting a Legend skin or an awesome gun skin.

I would also like to mention that they need to make a better matchmaking system because it’s really gotten out of hand how bad it’s been these past couple seasons.

They also need to fix their servers because the last last two seasons alone have whittled my patience way down the drain with lag (I’ve had 60 ping shoot up to almost a 1,000 more than once) spikes that’ll blow you’re mind in the middle of a match to a straight up server shutdown in Ranked and lose so much RP (this happened alot to me in S13).

I’ve came so close to quitting the game altogether and I’ve only been playing since S10 lol. I hope they have something figured out because it’s been really bad upto this point imo and I would hate to quit playing this game that I’ve made some pretty fun and awesome memories in.

Season 13 dive trails should be permanent. Every video and comment on the ranked system makes it more logical each time. Idk how we can talk about how impossible ranked is now, and speak of nerfs and reworks without giving permanent rewards like they did in season 2 and 3. Really disappointed that nobody with a voice in the community brings it up for new ranked grinders to have something to show for success in a brand new extra hard comp mode. This season I would say perm trails make sense but they removed kill cap.

Just revert the the kp changes made at the beginning of this season. The maps definitely play a part but it immediately became kills > end game placement. No player should be getting 800+ gains a game.

Not just the ranked system, but the matchmaking system, yes it would be way easier on everyone in ranked if it wasn’t a sweat fest with the supposed preds in platinum lobby’s, and I have found master’s in bronze lobby’s. But with the matchmaking, somehow I can end up with no teammates, what’s worse is that it has happened in trios, both pubs and ranked I have had no teammates. Even just have one less teammate in a whole match changes the outcome of fights, and somehow Respawn and EA still support the idea of teamwork is important in Apex, when sometimes you can squad up solo in trios, and end up with no teammates, and even if you do get teammates somehow the skill balance is way off.

Also for a good care package weapon I would suggest maybe a Rocket Launcher, which is kinda like the Kraber, but you don’t have to be good with a sniper to get insane damage.

Just reduce the kp a little and fix the matchmaking so your playing against equivalent ranks that would help a ton in my opinion

KC is my favourite ranked map, I absolutely hate Storm Point, the whole map is a mountain so fights are so jarring, third parties are as bad or worse than KC, rotations and choke points suck ass since the map is a fucking mountain, little cover and overall it’s a miserable experience. Never had more fun in ranked than on a KC split.

Apex has a cry baby community.. im sorry to say it but out of every community ive been a part of, this one has to have the most spoilt pros.. stomping their feet and sulking.
Im competitive, but i like to have chill games some days.
Hence why people should subscribe to this channel and the gauntlet coz jmeyels knows how to try and have some fun in this game with the community. Thank me later when you have a blast at hide and seek or crosscountry races on the maps.
Screw the pros and the cry babies. Stay positive and have fun.

Carepackage guns should be:
– Kraber: The op sniper rifle
– Bow: Unique gun with its own ammo
– Charge Rifle: if it’s gonna be this annoying make it rarer
– Masiff: The op shotgun

Carepackage guns should never be automatic

I enjoyed the rank split on Kings Canyon this season. My 1st time making it to Diamond Rank when previously I never went past Platinum IV. I hope to make Diamond the second split also!

It’s a pro opinion about the ranked games… bc isn’t ALGS built exactly like the current system is now? Like they don’t gain points without kills if they place high but without placing high you don’t get many points off of kills, plus I don’t want to have to fight 15 other squads at round 5 fighting for the end game spot, I just wanna play Apex like I normally do, push if we find an opening and pull out if we don’t. I feel like some of the things pros are complaining about just ruin the game as a whole,

I love the ranked system! Get kills to get a high rank, you bunch of pussys. You shouldn’t be rewarded for camping tell the end, an end up dying to the first squad you come into contact with.

I started playing apex at the end of season 10 and the only time I attempted to play ranked was season 12 and got gold in like 2 days, no ranked season 13 then this season I give ranked a try again and it took me A WHILE to get to gold, then I was stuck there for a while. I t definitely feels harder
