I feel like Easy anti-cheat screws over more legitimate players then it actually catches cheaters, Random games of getting kicked out to EAC, Game not launching.

JMeyels, I absolutely love the example that you made comparing Hideouts to Batman. If batman were to be on news stations, people knowing his identity can put him into serious trouble and even death threatening situations. Hideouts already failed to be secretive when he went public. Therefore, I don’t know how people could expect Hideouts not to be targeted. I’m against what hideouts does, but you can’t expect yourself to be a game developer/ban hammer, and go public, AND not expect people to be mad at you. It’s completely outrageous of what these people think.

The Respawn devs are softer than cotton candy, I’m not saying “death threats” are cool but take some god damn ownership of your half baked piece of shit game. This cash cow of a game has so many core problems that ignoring them and pushing blatant cash grabs and recycled skins is not cutting it anymore.

Initially Wattson made a tweet about the hacker stuff. He never mentioned hideouts. Hideouts chose to put himself into the spotlight, like usual, and then all the fan boys come to his rescue. It’s annoying. I’m not a fan of Hideouts or any of the publicity that he gets but they clearly don’t do anything about the cheating situation.

The problem is Hideouts made himself a public figure. He likes posting about his “big ban hammer,” bragging about his job, and how he’s hanging with streamers. He made himself the face of Apex Anti Cheat and Bans. Well, it’s dogshit so everyone points the finger at him.

Imagine a fire fighter who posts on social media bragging about his cool fire truck and asking for praise for being the best fire fighter, and the entire town is burning, but instead of putting out the fires, he’s out bowling with Aceu lol. Then later, he brags about the fact that he put out some random trash can that was on fire.
