If people were a little more friendly, its ironic that just about everyone who “plays with their friends” is toxic. When you are supposed to team up you’d hope the people you are teaming up with to at least be good sports. Not asking for anything from the devs aside from continued support of the game. It’s on the community to make the game more enjoyable, not on the devs to somehow alter players behavior. Matchmaking could be better but it is what it is.

Yea, Apex has gotten boring just like Fortnite did. I’ve just been going back to playing games I played several years ago, still fun, admittedly not a lot of lobbies though in most of them.
For me the reason behind apex getting boring is the gameplay of it. It’s not the dropping from the sky repeatedly and landing, finding weapons, it’s the combat.
I thought the game modes might have revived it for me but they also went really repetitive.
Hold gun, aim, shoot, die. Hold gun, aim, shoot, kill, shoot, die.

I know that sounds like every other fps shooter game but that’s the problem, there’s nothing to separate it from the rest.
The only thing doing that is the characters and their abilities and they get extremely boring after a while, most of them are also unplayable due to the “meta” always being a thing.

It’s sad really they made titanfall and I love that game. The movement in that game was amazing and I played those games so much. I thought I’d do the same with this one but I just haven’t.
Apex just feels like it’s missing something and thusly is being dragged down into the deleted games pile for most people. Yes they may come back and try out a new character, but like me they will get bored very fast.
Until Respawn gives it that extra little thing I and probably a lot of people will continue to lose interest in the game and thusly will bring its appeal down overall for the community itself.

I don’t think people understand that a game will never maintain peak. It just…doesn’t happen.

Now, I do think Respawn makes enough to keep all the bugs in check…but my girlfriend and I still really love playing. It’s still fun. ♡

I certainly can’t speak for the entire player base, but I’m bored to death with 8/10 of my teammates being wraiths or octanes. I’m bored of fighting multiple wraiths/octanes every game.
If I play storm point the game becomes a waking simulator most matches.
No game stays fresh forever, but the direction they’ve gone hasn’t helped.
