I solo q in ranked every season and always make it to diamond easily but can’t get past d1 with the last 100-150 rp into masters. This season I barely made it to diamond. Every time I got a win or especially a big win, the next 7-10 games, I would get placed with gold 4 and 3 players who don’t even know how to play apex in master/pred lobbies. For example, they would hardly ever even bother healing themselves during gun fights. This would happen until I lose about 300-500 rp every time. Unless I rat every single match…no thanks. After losing that rp, it would then place me with plat 4s again. When I reached plat 1, it stuck me with lvl 4 gold players/ gold players with a silver friend 9 out of 10 games. When I would get a plat 1 player, we never got a 3 teammate and forced us to play duo in master/pred lobbies. I’d still lose points too when you’re not suppose to when without a third most of the time. One game out of 400, I got a diamond 4 player with a mic and a plat 3 player with a mic in master/pred lobby, I got 6 kills 3,000 damage. My teammates had nearly 3,000 as well and we won. Never happened again.

Ranked matchmaking is beyond rigged, beyond a joke, beyond a fraud. This isn’t ranked. It’s a safe space for casuals who don’t know how to play apex and punishment for solo q’rs unless you’re full stacking. You have to full stack to actually play in ranked matches.

The think the matching is the same just gaming has gotten bigger and people have more skill them say 5 years ago. Before games were to just play now there are orgs, tornys, World Championships. Players have evolved as gamers so now the match matching should

I just need respawn to explain how I have 1,000 kills on my entire account and I get people in my lobbies with 3,000 on a single character in pubs. It is insane.

i think pubs is fine, the SBMM balances the teams in the lobby to make the game difficult, when i play pubs i get full master and diamond 3 stacks and still do well and a lot of times win, its not easy but im sure its similar to most peoples experience…it basically just means that the game thinks you are equipped to play against these opponents and the better you do the more difficult of an opponent it attempts to give you. it’s like ranked based off a span of your previous 5 games. real ranked is broken, its not ranked, solo que ranked is carry your team or lose, there is no balancing, and thats the game mode that needs the most balancing

Why not put a new flatline skin in the game with those type of iron sights?
I just don’t see the hype of recolors its lazy way for respawn to pump out recycled content. Do the job you have and actually design something new that the player base wants.
Every other game has a shit ton of cosmetic and cheaper at that.

for the last time, sbmm makes games not fun. idc how much ppl starting out cry. everyone was that guy/girl at some point, the rest is up to YOU, put in the work, or dont. just play and stfu. i died all the time to ppl better than me when i started so i played and i played, got better and now they the rugg from under me with sbmm. so all those hours i threw into the trash basically. got better only to become average, great.

theres definitely something wrong with the matchmaking especially in ranked. i havent played this season much so ive only got to around platinum, usually around diamond. but id get into the match with the SAME people 4 or 5 times in a row, even after waiting 5 minutes before reentering the que. not to mention ive got rookie players on my squad at times.

My take on this, SBMM isn’t broken as it’s been a thing since multiplayer had existed, the broken part is not catering for the individual players who have downloaded the thing. Solo grinders would love a solos mode as the game would feel more “fair” in my eyes. However it’s “unhealthy” for the game because 3 stacks wouldn’t like it, pros and streamers would have less content and most likely moan about queue times. All changes they make “it’s to make it more balanced” as a team (ranked) for example. However any other BR I’ve played has a solo’s mode. It’s fine, but just admit the game caters for the pros and streamers and just anything that makes money. At the end of the day it’s EA that own this game so anything they do or change is for more revenue, selling a battle pass with different skins for guns and legends, apex coins, crating materials and more for 7.99 but then bring out the level 110 skin for £20.

Changes aren’t there for the gamer.

I believe the article was since season 10, future Battle passes are not nessacarily exclusive from then on, so all bp’s from s10 onward.
