i can understand the whole 50% win rate for public games but using that in ranked games just ruins the whole point of ranked. they have had it in arena and look where that got them. they spent alot of cash and time on it and it died so easily.

Idk why everyone keeps talking about the ranked system like “oh now its preds in Plat lobbies”. Like, who were they playing against before? It’s not like there are fewer people playing the game than last season, it’s just that those Plat and diamond players used to be in masters cause it was way easier to get there. So you either have bad players in masters rank and everyone complains about how it’s too easy to get masters and how the actual good players are stomping the bad rp grinders, or you have the situation we have now where there aren’t enough players in masters rank to fill lobbies cause it’s actually hard to achieve that rank now so you end up with Plat and diamond players against preds. It’s still the same issue, just with a different name. People just need to understand that there aren’t a lot of top tier players and that you can’t fill lobbies with just people of equal skill level at the highest tier of play.

you have to be a turbo virgin to complain people are getting recolors i understand and agree the og version shouldn’t return but recolors are not the same skin if they were the same skin people would use the base and recolors interchangeably and not have a preference

I don’t mind recolors but don’t actually sell the og skins from the battle pass like I missed out on season 2-3 level 100-110 and I don’t mind having a recolor of those skins but don’t bring back the skins

The matchmaking is actually very broken I was like silver 2 and my friend was gold 2 and we were getting constant masters and diamonds and then we would get rookies as the champion squad and just weird things with this game I honestly think that if youre grinding ranked you should go against your own rank and not against people that are a higher rank than you cause it makes it for a not so enjoyable rank grind but hey its EA they only care about the money and not the health of their own game I just genuinely hope that the changes that are coming for ranked actually helps a lot to make the rank grind so much better and actually have fair matches where you dont get stomped by masters and preds and people can actually rank up fairly and before anyone says anything yes my ranked experience hasn’t been the greatest getting killed by wall jumping tap strafing weirdos and constant third parties I really want apex to succeed because I know the game has the potential to be one of the best battle royals out there only problem is that EA being all greedy for money is pushing them away from that vision

Not everybody plays apex at the same time. You have morning players, evening players and night players. In my opinion I think there are times when there just isn’t enough people playing apex at the same time foe sbmm to work properly they have to throw everybody in together to fill the lobbies. When I used to play I would never be in a full lobby it was always 1 or 2 players short

People always complain about SBMM but SBMM is what keeps the preds in higher lobbies. This season is closer to no SBMM than ever and now everyone is crying? Like what?

Screw the OGs, it’s bullshit they get such a huge ironsight advantage. Recolouring is lazy on Respawn’s part though, they should just make a new flatty skin with dope ironsights.
