no OG from s4 that wana gate keep the flatline skin, it has a clear advantage. make it non evolve and and literally not a single one would care. og skins and shit are nice if they stay exclusive, but not weapons skins that are so much better then default or any other option. so go easy on the them and those people narrative.

If they didn’t revert all the Masters and Preds to Gold ranked would probably be ok. But so many people quit playing ranked because they bunched everyone in together in the beginning

The rise of smurfing for sure hinders sbmm, the lobbies dont know how to accurately put who in what lobbies. Thats just a small part of the bigger picture this season, ranked became to hard for the genral playerbase, loads stopped grinding, hence plats/golds got farmed to pred lobbies so they were filled. It has been a massive issue for seasons though, some of the playerbase will give the classic git gud etc and you have to play against stronger opposistion to get better but like in any game it should but currently doesnt offer a natural skill progression arc, “out of the frying pan into the fire”. Preds are not getting good enough competition and and good percentage of the playerbase are getting gatekept unintentionally on the way through.

idk man… i’m cool with tougher opponents in pubs but it gets to a point where half of the lobby is masters and preds, people with 20-30 thousands of kills, 4k’s and 20 bombs everywhere… i got like 2k kills total and i’m every season like 1 k/d, always playing solo 🤔 i’m cool with having tougher cookies to break mostly cuz it amps up your games and you get better but it gets to a point where you hit a wall where you simply can’t get better anymore having your ass wooped all the time. sbmm should be a thing, casuals should have fun as well, not everybody has time to just play apex all day, some people just hop for an hour or two to blow some steam after work. i’m not saying it needs a drastic change, it should be tuned up a little bit 😁 getting into huge cracked lobbies just because you won a game or you ended up having 5+ kills just isn’t the answer in my opinion.

Here’s the thing. New devs or not, as long as the game exists Respawn legally isn’t allowed to bring pre-season 11 battle pass content back. What they *CAN* do though is make recolors of said content the same way they did with the season 7 Octane skin.

They bring back skins because it makes them money. Solo mode won’t make them any money so they don’t care about adding it. People need to realise this company doesn’t care about it’s game or its player base. It only cares about making money

Simple fix for the flatline recolor. Don’t make it reactive. This way the people who actually worked and grinded for it get to keep their version which evolves, and other people get the skin with clean ironsights that is static.
