I just wish I could play pubs with my friends who are new/bad at the game and not be in pred/master lobby’s. I legit play ranked with them because it is more casual this season then my pub lobbies.

Solo queing just isn’t fun that’s all. This game is so anti-solo que its kinda nuts. Even if I’m just warming up in a pub match its either total hard case who thinks hes the next Faide but in actuality probably can’t even 1v1 me on his best day or you get scrub number 623442513542465364480786542, which is useless or has no mic or both. Wannabe Faide will always one trick and complain about teammates even if they themselves fuck up hard and get saved. Similar problems with Overwatch match maker, too much intuitive match making. You have to already be winning if you want solid teammates in solo que or you get an even worse pool of teammates then you would if you just played rank instead. I guess if you have a low kdr or win loss ratio on you’re account the match maker is just continually shitting on you but if I make another account I’m afraid I will lose all my gear that I collected and paid for. Stuff has gone missing multiple times in this game and on anther account so I kind of feel damned no matter what I do in this game. So much effort for such little reward sometimes too. I can carry a guy clearly way more experienced then me but I can also get most of kills stolen and then just get no points even if I outplay more experienced opponents and teammates. I find a lot of the experienced players at my level also have no idea how to play late game. Also if I do make another account Ill still get shitty teammates just slightly less of them but then have to grind up through silver again which is boring as can be. The rank reset obsession is a weird choice too, one reset a month or every couple of months is more then enough. Players already have to deal with some of the biggest balance reshuffles and most stagnant map pools of any game I’ve ever seen, why force them to re-rank every single month multiple times on top of that? Yeah you get a lot of new players but you also get a lot of churn.

Yes a very competitive game where if you don’t choose to play on a 30 year old input then u are at a disadvantage cus it has 40% aimbot. EAs greed will never give us separate servers to play on either.

Apex is just too competitive and i think because of this aspect, it will kill the game. There is no reason for pubs and LTMs to have the tightest matchmaking forcing u to sweat every time u boot up this game. Plus the matchmaking forces u to lose no matter what u do so playing with a premade is what everyone does. The matchmaking is the worst its ever been this split. Any casual or new players. Just quit so the devs do something. Player count and profits made from MTX sales are a good indication of game performance. If the community keeps playing it then the devs will change nothing.

Does Hal realize that his response only will make the game sweatier? When you drive casuals away from the game, the only people left playing are sweats. I’m sure Respawn doesn’t like him telling people to play something else.

I love apex but it definitely isn’t a “plug-and-play” like other comparable FPS. You can’t just hop on and mess around like you can in Fortnite or Warzone and have fun. Messing around in apex means being sent back to the lobby time and time again. For a casual, that’s not fun.

No knock to the Apex mains but sometimes people who only have 1-2 hours to play just want to spend that time relaxing with friends.

That’s pretty true overall, Apex isn’t a casual game for the most part. If Control becomes a regular game mode then yeah, more game modes with more players will even it out like CoD and Halo does.

What the hell is ranked matchmaking. 2:59 It is a full plat team they are not even qued with a diamond player. I would understand if they had atleast 1 diamond player but litterly 0 diamonds on their team and they are in pred lobbies. No wonder preds get fake af points each game if they have lobbies like this.

It sucks trying to ask a friend who isn’t “good” to hop on apex. Especially when they get killed early and watch me play for another 5-10 minutes solo. I try to keep his spirits up by reminding him that he’s dying to better players, but it doesn’t help when he’s getting tbagged by a masters horizon with 30k+ kills lmao. Speaking of masters players, the skill gap is not wide at all tbh. It’s very clear a difference between a masters player and a pred player, so what’s up with the inflated egos of these guys?

What they need to do is keep a game mode like control or gun game so you can casually play. They pander to the pros and the 5% of people who play super competitively instead of making a game mode or keeping one that is fun all the time for the majority of players.

I use .cfg to set a walk button while using auto run. Everything else is against the spirit of the game.
