Definitely weird changes but I’m so down for it! Wingman change is great and I barely use it, as a NewCastle main I love the knockdown shield decision, it’s gonna be interesting

I feel like all the players that grinded for 3 years to get a level above well above 1-2k should be able to prestige automatically. It’s sucks to me that my technical level is around 1400, meaning those 900 levels will have to be earned again. Meaning I won’t see a “free” heirloom for 3 years… unless they changed how fast you earn xp.

I like these changes, but really wish the new legends were a different class than just recon and offense. It’s really draining to basically just get the same legend over and over again, and I feel like it means Apex is just gonna end up with the same legend problem as Overwatch and R6.

The spitfire to light change is a horrible idea. They are taking a light ammo gun out of the care package, they are putting a heavy ammo gun in, and they are changing the wingman to sniper. So now there’s two less heavy guns and two more light guns. We’re going to have the same problem next season as this season. The only heavy guns that will ever get used is the car (which can still run light) the flatline, hemlock, and repeater. But let’s be honest, hardly anyone uses hemlok and repeater late game

Changes:
-wingman uses sniper ammo and sniper magazines
-kings canyon tweaked (loot, pois, color palette, charge towers, balloons)
-level cap increased to 700, but you can prestige to a level of 2800 (for a total of 544 free apex packs, aka free heirloom)
-slowing introduction of weapons to try to combat power creep
-laser sights (smg and pistol attachment that replaces barrel, self-explanatory)
-spitfire is a light ammo lmg now
-eva 8 fire rate increased, able to use stocks for recoil management
-g7 and volt on ground, rampage and bocek in the crate
-skullpiercer added back to ground loot, added to 3030
-triple take is new reactive skin
-self res removed from gold knockdown, replaced with “Guardian angel”
-gold bag new perk “deep pockets” adds +1 storage to large health items
-gifting coming soon to the store
-cross progression soon:tm:
-PvE events will not be coming back to Apex Legends, however they are hinting at a new game within-universe
-going to continue to add legends until foreseeable future

Respawn: lets reduce some of the toxicity of the weapon pool and add bocek and rampage to carepackage and slightly nerf the wingman.
Also Respawn: Bring skullpiercer back and put it on 3030, make the EVA faster also double tap it and the G7
