Which is exactly why pc players should be in there own lobby
Can sit at 300 fps constantly but I play at 225 because it gives the best of both worlds
I get 25-30 fps on my ps4 slim 🙁
I appreciate this video. Looking into the advantages of having better frame rate and by extention a heavier wallet slapped on your computer is something I haven’t heard discussed much. As somebody who up until a year ago had 40 fps on PC. I can tell you 100+ FPS feels like a whole new world.
If you get the right mouse they can be clicky or free scrolling. Mine does both
I think that apex legends is not that much pay to win. Of course, if you have good FPS and low ping, game goes smoothly, you are happy about it… But that doesn’t matter a lot. And “pay to win skins” sometimes makes less stuff going on the screen but you can still handle everything just like when you don’t have that best PC or skins.
An extraordinary mechanic that is super hard to achieve at any fps is having fun despite what happens to you
Ps4 players playing with 30-40 fps when he says 60 feels terrible 😬
Ninja I’m not seeing enough movement
Been no this. Your ping is used against you in the game witch limits your ability to play. This entire game is rigged stop playing it people
If I could have 60 fps for just 20 minutes I’d be the happiest player in the world
I used to think I sucked at Apex until I got a 165hz monitor and dropped my first 2K in my second match
Recently I’ve gone from 165 fps lock to 120 thinking cutting back on some frames would do two things
Reduce FPS drops as I can hold 100-120 perfectly, but at 165 I still drop to 120 sometimes anyways, and it’s a larger gap thus more noticable of a stutter.
and Also to help Superglide consistency with a few less frames.
Now a strange side affect I’ve encountered has been a massive increase in dead slides. However I have a feeling it’s because this somehow messed up my muscle memory timing for quicksliding…
If anyone has had a similar experience or knows why this is for sure, I’d love to hear it.
Otherwise I might just step back up a few notches to 144.
In actually around 90 fps but find everything ok and kinda ez
anyone wanna gimme a new PC so I can test this as well? 😂😂 great vid as always TGM!
Don’t forget that your game and pc are behaving differently when you lower your fps with lets say “river tuner statistics server” or your pc just isn’t good enough for higher frames. (lowering them on an decent pc to 60 also gives massive stutter unlike what You have here).
The fluidity of the frames change MASSIVELY from stuttery to extremely smooth —> hence why 60fps doesn’t look too bad when you limit it with Your pc (tgm’s) vs. someone that doesn’t get more then 60.
– not to mention the inconsistent lower fps aswell as frame drops that you have with an bad pc but you also don’t have when you reach 300 normal but lower it down to anything below 300.
I also heard that you actually get worse performance if you just reach the max cap that the game can offer instead of limiting it slightly below. For example: Game says 300 fps is max, then lower it to 280 if you would reach that cap, to get better performance.
I play at 144 FPS @ 4K. 3080ti
Playing on the switch with 30 to 60 fps abusing superglides sideways or backwards is really good
I play on 60-100 and I can zip line super jump, and tapstrafe perfectly fine. I think it also depends on what your used to as well.
I play on GeforceNow. That is 60fps rendered, 60fps streamed and displayed at 60hz.
I still can win fights on my own. However anyone that spectates me gets confused by my actions. Usually leads to are you OK? Are you drunk? Are you just that bad? Comments. My answer to all those questions are I am doing the best I can with what I have.
