Correct me if I’m wrong, but as a long time Wattson main she’s extremely good but not really worth picking over caustic or gibby in 90% of situations or a maybe better way of saying it, she has a very limiting and specific kit that can be powerful but probably on the same level as caustic (unless grenade spam of course) still with those specific situations.

Wattsons fences rarely provide helpful defense in open areas (which really hurts in storm point) her ult is amazing for healing shields and such but again in open spaces without a ton of cover it’ll get shot down. While caustic can easily lock down an area even if temporary the location doesn’t matter to lockdown an area. The gas removes visibility and stops pushes or helps pushing. Gibby dome I don’t feel like I have to explain. Her fences have twenty ish hit points each and fences are extremely visible. Wattsons ult also has a major downside of destroying friendly throwables (like caustic ult). But not to downplay her too much she is extremely dominant on ziplines and around doors.

Glad to see my girl Wattson getting some love, however I’d probably bump her down to a B or B+ at most.

She’s good at locking down areas indoors however the second she’s outside and doesn’t have the highground, the fences just turn more into of a slight inconvenience rather than a hard-core zoning tool when using indoors. The pylon is still goated tho if you’re able to find a good spot to hide it, preventing enemies from flushing you out of your spot.

There’s also the issues of fence placement and tech, unless you’re someone’s who’s played wattson a while, those fence placements right up against doorframes and stuff aren’t going to give you much defence.

It’s only people who actually know how to play wattson who becomes a major threat, blocking off ziplines, doors, stairs, the high ground, deathboxes, wraith portals etc. and leaving door traps to get a free kill the second you push up against a door with a Wattson behind it.

So like she’s a B- for people new to her and after like a 50 – 100hrs she becomes around an A

As someone who’s essentially one tricked Newcastle this entire season (1.3k kills) I climbed from Gold 1 to Dia 4 in 4 days with him and kit. The underlying flaw with him is that he doesn’t replace the role Gibby has on a team. He’s really just a more fun, mobile but situational Gibby. However a Gibby and Newcastle on the same team goes crazy. If they buffed his tacticals speed ever so slightly his pick rate could go crazy, only time will tell 🙂

As a Revenant Main: I quite disappointed that he’s C Minus. He’s my number 1 spot to me. Still playing as him. My number 2 main is Dr. Alexander ”Caustic” Nox. Still the best to me. Sometimes I have some wins, sometimes I don’t. (Which is frustrating.) My third main is T.J. Park aka Crypto. I’m getting used to him a lot more. Most people didn’t know how to play Crypto. Professionally. Here’s a tip for all of you Crypto mains out there, ping on one of the big banners first before you look around with the drone. If the banners shows you the numbers of how many squads are, alarm your teammates. Please and thank you. My fourth main is Walter Fritzroy. Sometimes I play with him, sometimes I don’t. He’s a good guy to me. Knuckle Clusters? Awesome Sauce. Grenadier Skill of his? Killer! Next. My number 5 main is Seer. A+ Tier? Sure I’ll take it. And lastly my 6th main is Newcastle. The long lost brother of Bangalore. Better known as Ex-Jackson Williams, better known as Lamont Craig. His own new alias. Hope he explains his own sister the whole damn story. Okay enough about him and his personal life. Let’s talk about his abilities. His abilities: absolute breathtaking. Mobile Shield: 10/10. Retrieved the Wounded: 7/10. not must of a Hero type of gamer. Castle Wall: 8/10. And that’s on my list of my mains.
