Seems very well rounded. Has a scanning passive (though I’m guessing it’s a selfish scan, unlike other legends with scanning abilities), a movement tactical, and a scanning/offensive ultimate. I wish more legends were like this. Valkyrie has a movement passive, an offense tactical, and a movement/scanning ultimate. Ash has a scanning (sort of) passive, an offensive/defensive tactical, and a movement ultimate. While Ash may not have a high pick rate, she is a really well balanced legend (no buffs or nerfs since launch) and fun to play.
The reason no one is playing New Castle is because he is all defense. It’s cool situationally, and I personally enjoy playing him. But no one really wants such a one note legend to play.

At 2:46 in the trailer we get a pretty clear shot of the weapon on her back, it looks more like a sentinel. I think her passive is what people have suggested for pathfinder, the “recon scope” ability, her tactical is the booster thing, which will probably function similar to deploying NewCastle’s ultimate, but just be a boost to high-ground, then her ultimate has to do with the bat, looks like it marks/tracks enemies she’s ADSed on. recon sniper legend

Something that you missed worth noting is that vantage’s passive kept revealing bloodhound even behind cover.

Potential for scouting for/ positioning to avoid 3rd party fights is super handy.

I don’t think they’re just calling back to the Crypto lore. I think they’ll be expanding upon it, the prediction algorithm is very connected to what happened to Crypto’s sister so I think we’ll be getting more of that.
