Prowler is essentially a heavy ammo shotgun, giving it back it’s damage is nice, still feels like a lazy “balance change” patch.

I have always maintained Prowler is broken SMG , esp as a finishing weapon 🙌 I have 6 legendaries and use it often.

I’ve been enjoying running ar or smg with a sentinel for a while now. It’s so much better with the buff tho, the pk has been very tempting to take over the sentinel again tho

Huh? Prowler is the worst weapon in the game & I’m on controller. I can use the car no problem over distance, but you give me the prowler & I’ll miss almost everything. I am dying to have full auto back so it’s an actually usable weapon, especially off drop when it gets me killed.

prowler likely wont really be meta tbh. after the dmg buff it’ll do 75 if you hit all the shots. but shotguns can still do more than that in about the same amount of time whilst consuming way less ammo, being just as hard/easy to hit as all 5 prowler shots and in the PK’s case having more range. on top of this im pretty sure the car still has a faster time to kill than the prowler after its upcoming buff whilst again being more reliable so both shotguns, car and maybe even the R9 are heavily gatekeeping the prowler from being meta. MAYBEEEEEEEEE it’ll be meta for like gold-plat controller players (average-slightly above avg players) but i dont see it being meta anywhere else unless you’re so good with it that even at mid range you can hit all 5 shots or consistently hit a lot of headshots close range to make it kill faster than shotguns and the other SMG’s.
