What is the Cold Blooded passive worked for you and teammates only within 20 ft of you, it would also encouraged your teammates to stay close to you and play together. So both your teammates would stay hidden as long as they were close to you but they got to far away they would show up on scans

Pros whine when there is a meta change. Competitive meta has been wraith hubby bloodhound for almost as long as there has been a Competitive scene. Literally as soon as we have other characters good enough to be used in Competitive, ie seer and valkyrie, people start whining about them being too strong. I for one am incredibly bored of seeing the same three legends over and over and I enjoyed the variety in the recent algs. The meta needs to change. And it hasn’t changed in almost 8 seasons.

A “cold blooded” ability on a Legend would be a solo Ranked Rat Player’s dream. Having Seer, Bloodhound, and even Valk in the mix prevent so much ratting in ranked games.
IMO…. Valk’s scan is good as it is. Bloodhound’s scan is balanced because it doesn’t last long at all so you can always reposition with a different angle as soon as it wears off. Seer on the other hand, his ULT is really strong. They could nerf the duration or the size of bubble. His passive is needed to sniff out rats, although I do wish they’d increase the range on it (personally I think it should have a baseline range, then increase with the size zoom from his weapon.) Giving him a buff in one area and a nerf in another area could be a good balance. In all honesty, I love playing Seer and have always preferred him over BH. I prefer the stealthier approach of knowing where people are instead of giving up my position with a BH scan.

Only viable way I can see them introducing a “Cold Blooded-esque” perk would be one of two ways:

1.) A character is introduce and their ULTIMATE gives it to the whole team. It would be an AoE like Seer’s Ult, but operates like a Rampart Cover; your team can scan people but they can’t scan you.

2.) Is an ITEM that drops in care packages. No crafting, no ground loot. Depending on the round they choose I think it would work. Personally I see it being a early game item, the catch is it takes up the Heat Shield/Mobile Respawn in your inventory. And since only ONE of these items ever spawns per game (and it isn’t guaranteed either) only a SINGLE PERSON in the whole lobby has it, kill them and it’s your advantage.

Honestly i think cold blooded would be kinda cool and a good legends passive… say you’re in a bangs smoke and they have a dig threat then they can’t see you with your passive or for bloodhound you won’t show up red or cryptos drone they can’t ping you but can still get stunned i think it should be able to work against more than one legend

What they should do so it’s not to much of a meta change so these pros can stop crying lol if they added a passive to Mirage that allowed him to have something like cold blooded when he pops his ult or even a single decoy maybe

They’re not happy about wallhacks but will play- no MAIN Bloodhound lol. Moose is a bit corny and hypocritical complaining about it while using a legend that can also abuse Wall hacks.

Pros opinions should not matter. They can die to a hammer point Mozam and they’ll cry about it asking for a nerf.

Seer is the Valk (pre nerf) of his category. Extremely OP with multiple passives and one of the most powerful ULTs. I like that more people including myself are starting to use him more but something needs to be taken out… I think the ability to cancel heals/revives is one of those things that should be reworked to make him more balanced in his category.

Also, going off of moose’s suggestion. I had the same thought while running Seer. A cold blooded legend that proved that passive to the whole team would be awesome and would spice up the Meta’s in the short run. I would like to see a new support legend that provided that ability as a passive..

Plus seer was so good when he dropped the cried an cried then he got needed into the ground to the point no one played him now that dudes like hiswattson who is cracked used him to the potential seer has always had people wanna complain he to good when in reality the pros got him nerfed an now they wanna do it again cause a player who probably good with any character in this game shits on them

People complaint that seer is broken forget that he got insanely nerfed in his season and stop being picked afterwards. I mean this legend has remained untouched for 2 seasons now and only now, because he’s being picked now, are they crying that he’s too op. Give me a break.

I’ve had the idea of a passive called “off-the-grid” that makes you immune to scans for characters like Bangalore, Mirage, and Crypto who are countered by the scan meta. It would work like how Fortified is on Gibraltar, Newcastle, and Caustic, in how it effects specific characters because of their disadvantages to pretty much everyone else in-game. Bangalore and Mirage specifically, because their abilities damn near became useless before a fight even starts.

I feel that the people who are complaining about Seer, are the same people who think Valk is fine and doesn’t need a nerf. Seer is underrated and people are realizing he is pretty good. Annoying sure but it’s only because people are playing him more after seeing him used well in ALGS. That’s why we are getting Valk on EVERY team

There does need to be something to counter scans, that’s just a fact. Currently the only way to stop a scan is to kill the legend (who has the scans) or Silence them, but even then there could be another dozen scan legends running around the map. Apex Mobile added an anti-scan Legend with Rhapsody, but that character would be a bit too busted with their whole kit to be added in to the main game without any changes.

I feel like the best possible scenario for a counter scan/detection legend would be a legend who throws down an ult, much like Seer’s, but instead of detecting enemies in the area, it instead blocks all scan and detection abilities.
