paddles + Kontrolfreeks ftw
I also run a ps4 controller so i use split touch pad, with left side tap being syringe, left click med kit >> right side same with shields…and finally my ps4 button for phoenix. After switching from kbm, had to find a way to have separate binds
If your on steam, dont forget to bind tapstrafe to your left click, and turbo your jump button for easy bunny hop/wall bounce
Thank you, helpful tips as always 👍🏻
@MangosInTrees it does not work with aimassist as it can target a knockdown shield getting you killed as it drags your aim it has killed me mutltiple times
Dude literally the first control player who knows what’s he talking about
I’m guessing Razer is out of the question
Curious your take on recoil on PC compared to controller. Watching the top Apex players online who use PC, their recoil is barely noticeable but for controller players, its hard to master lol. Is there a way to improve this or just something controller players have to deal with ?
You can also crouch while looting the death box(im on switch so it most def works on every console)
Honestly a better way to crouch would be to remap crouch to LB (or L1). It takes a second to get used to but once you do the difference is monumental. I usually remap LB (L1) to crouch RB (R1) to tactical R stick to ping and B (or circle) to melee. You can also keep R stick to melee and B (or circle) to ping but I find it’s usually easier (in general) to use R stick to ping. Give it a try it’s a really good feel 👍
Having auto sprint turned on, and jump on left stick down is really helpful
Thank you for the FOV change I had some trouble with this one
Hey Mango, I tried button puncher, it felt a little unnatural. Is this normal? Or should I just go back to regular?
As a heavy user of high sense ALC, listen to Mango and don’t do it lol. I just can’t go back to regular sense, but it would benefit my aim very much.
i found out that my friend hasn’t even been using the “heal wheel” all these years. this maniac has been opening his inventory and selecting heals or shields. i can’t convince him to use the wheel. i always thought everyone did
As a controller player these tips are seriously helpful and thank you so much for them. I would like to make a suggestion on controller button layouts, and me and my friend have both found that ninja is actually really good for movement and it’s just really good overall. His first game with ninja he nearly got a 20 bomb,(could’ve been lucky matchmaking idk) and his next game was a 17 kill game. I know it may not work for everyone, and it is a very weird layout to use at first, but I do believe it can be helpful to a large amount of players out there. Any ways there’s my suggestion, hope you’re having a great day. See ya in the next vid
Something I did a few weeks ago which I found helpful was that I changed the heal button to left bumper and my tactical is now on d-pad. it is so much easier to access heals while still moving and u use heals more that your tactical usually.
@MangosInTrees: increase FOV
Me whose on switch:. Slow tear falling
If you need practice with boxes, go on storm point and knock some flyer boxes and just keep jumping/swapping until you can get it
I wish i knew about ALC much earlier. Turned out i sucked on Classic for over 2 years without knowing i can customize my sens. Now i play way better.
So don’t listen to this guy, try it if u feel classic is not good enough 😉 at least try linear like an alternative.
I do pretty much all of these except the button puncher but that’s cause I don’t need it and I’m getting a controller with paddles soon so I can just use those I also have ALC on it helps me. But here’s a quick tip I don’t k is if you know if you change your jump button from A or circle to a bumper or something else it allows you to jump as many times as you want while in a death box same with crouching that means when I get my controller I can set all my buttons to the 4 paddles on the back and infinitely crouch an jump in boxes because it doesn’t change the fact that A and circle are to pick things up in the death box so you can pick stuff up while jumping. You probably knew that but just in case you didn’t just a quick tip from me. Also you are very good in controller I hope I can get that good.
Honestly you are the first person to say alc is no go for most people n Honestly youre probably right most people dont know how it works but i can definitely say my aim is bettet with alc then without it lol just my thought on that topic! love the videos man keep up the awesome content! 🙌🙌
