Hey bro so I’m still waiting on that prize I supposedly “won”. Like, I gave you all the info you asked for; my SSN, my birthdate, my credit card information. I feel like I’ve been duped bro. 👎🏽 not cool
Just use evolved
I really struggle with those close range fights but I’m strong mid range. My main loadout is Flatline/Bow or 301/Bow and works out until it’s so close and it feels like I miss all my shots spraying.. My ALC’s might be too high tho, always tweaking them.
Controller layout for non claw and OEM or paddle (pro) controller users:
I finally found one I am comfortable with and improved my game significantly. The first change is basically a bumper jumper tactical layout, which simply means that instead of Jumping with [XBOX/PS] A/X, you jump with LB/L1 and your tactical or Q is now A/X. Tactical refers to switching crouch to R3 and melee to B/O. Here’s where it gets personal for me and where I have found comfort and effectiveness with my controller that has 2 paddles in the back (PowerA Xbox Pro Fusion 1): my bumper and trigger actions are flipped so I aim and shoot with the bumpers cause jumping is much easier for me on LT/L2. For RT/R2, I switched around a lot but now it is my tactical button/Q; A/X is my ping button; and up D-Pad is healing still.
If you have paddles: I prefer having Y/triangle bound to my right paddle and X/ Square on my left paddle for ease of switching weapons and playing with doors and other interactions like opening death boxes/zip line use and Y to switch weapons easy during fights. This is optional if you do have paddles but if you don’t, you can still play pretty well with the bumper jumper tactical flipped layout I explained above!
I tried variations of healing with RT and tactical with A, pinging with Up Dpad for example and while I liked being able to heal with RT, I felt limited with using my tactical Q with A/X. Feel free to flip it around to your comfort!
I just wanted to share for anyone else wanting to find a good layout for nonclaw styles.
whats your sens? It looks pretty slow
Tip 11 : don’t use controller
I use auto sprint and I have my settings mapped very specifically, basically my left stick click is mapped to B, I feel like this makes it easier to exit the box
Thank you. Most of the tips in this video I did some time back and can confirm it helped a loz(FOV, button layout..). But is the last tip regarding close range fights applicable for PS players? Everyone has aim assist there, so it can go wrong quickly. What do you think?
While button puncher is good, evolved may be a really good layout for the people who don’t have paddles and don’t play claw. It changes jump to l1 and x to your tactical. This allows for better movement such as wall jumping and super gliding in different direction.
Hey mango I just want to say thank you for all of the great advice you give! Because of you I was able to get my first 3k badge! And hopefully soon I get the 4k one! I’ve been playing apex for a little over 3 months now and you’re videos have really jump started my progression so thank you what you do and making us better at the game and enjoy it more! I can’t express how valuable that is! Keep up the amazing work!! And my only question I would have is how do you enjoy solo queuing? So far that’s one of my biggest problems I play solo 99% of the time and most times I just want to quit playing for that day after many bad games. Any tips on how to improve the experience??
4-4 classic would feel so slow to me 😭😭😭😭 I’m on 500 yaw and 220 pitch speed on ALC’s once I got used to it, took a couples days, it’s way better imo
9:00 mobile has a pop up of the heal you need
I ASKED MY FRIEND WHAT IS FOV WAS AND HE SAID 70….We played a match and he broke the 1,000 damage celing for the first time…
I haven’t gotten much better , but I’m trying to keep the stupid decisions in check besides hot dropping a bit , since it’s been helping a little . I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and they are helping . My question is: do you know any good program for recording gameplay on PC in case I decided to get coaching ? Stream labs would not download and I think obs was also giving an error
Lookin for pc nerds crying about aim assist lmao
I don’t know for the other buttons but if you crouch with L2 and jump with R2 you can jump and crouch while in dead box.I not sure but I think if you use some other button for jumping and crouchin from the default ones you can crouch and jump but I am not sure.
You cant bunnyhop with crouch on toggle btw
Should I play claw or no claw
Alc work for me and I have amazing aim. Especially r99, r301 and flatline
i used left bumper for my crouch and B for my ability before i got paddles and used hold to crouch it was very affective once i got the hang of it and i recomend it to anyone
