I wont even try Fate outside of Zero and Stay Night.
Its way to complex for me. The amount of time you have to invest to really get into it with all the parallel universes/time lines and such is just way too much.

If you’re familiar with history and mythology you will understand that FGO is not entirely about the gacha. Its the stories of characters both historical and fictional…and the timeless impact they left on all of human civilization. Be it Alexander the Great, Joan of Arc or the Knights of Camelot. We still remember. Update: Every single scene carries so much meaning. The Mahabharata War, Merlin’s “observations”, Camlan Hill, Iskandar’s death, Jeane’s execution, the siege of the Assassin Cult’s stronghold…

The Round Table, the battle of Camlann, and the final exchange between Mordred and her father Artoria gave me goosebumps.

But what really shot me to the heart was the fast transformation scene of the soldier dying, from antiquity to the modern ages, as if saying the folly of humanity never changed. Then it f**king changes to how people continued to pray and hope throughout that years regardless of religion or ethnicity, and the way those warriors held Excalibur as if it was the most delicate thing on earth even when it is considered in the Nasuverse as the ultimate holy sword forged by the planet itself and the collective prayers of humanity.

The feels is real man. Awesome AMV

Just a heads up for anyone that don’t know but Fate is not just a gacha game, the franchise is humongous not only on Japan but all over world, Nasuverse/TYPE-MOON works have not only huge fandoms but a lot of novels, manga, animes and games within it’s world, not only that but Fate/Grand Order was for many years the most profitable mobile game and is one of the world’s most lucrative mobile games of all time, the FGO series became a huge sucess after the leadership of the story changed from a third-party team for a official Nasuverse/TYPE-MOON supervised team, because early on the game didn’t had much faith that it would work, after Kinoko Nasu got directly involved thing just expanded and became a whole other thing.
