Comparing this to the Fable trailer doesn’t make much sense. One of the main criticisms of the Fable trailer was that the real life actor playing the protagonist was deemed to be hideously ugly, as she looked like an average human woman.

The Fable trailer wasn’t objectively “bad”, you simply might not like it, it might not be for you. Not everything is for everyone.

Fable is made by wry British people and is clearly inspired by wry British comedy. This is pure Japanese Anime.

The two narrative styles couldn’t be more dissimilar- anime tends to embrace what we might want to call melodrama and sentimentality, whereas British humour encapsulates cynicism and self deprecating self awareness. They are utterly different ways to tell a story. And at least the Fable trailer was in-engine and showed us how the gameplay might work.

Fate is a whole fucking coin flip. The Content is either fucking garbage or one of the best written storytelling and character writing u have ever witnessed. U have Legendary Storys like Fate/Zero on one side that make ur question ur own morality more than once and than u got garbage like Fate/Stay Night on the otherside thats just so fucking dumb. How can u make a CGI Dragon look so stupid?
