The VNs and the latest Lostbelts within the game as well as other type-moon VNs are some of the best written things ive ever read flat out.
People nowadays like to hype up OP or other manga /shonens when they dont even fucking compare

Its unfortunate that the anime adaptations by Ufotable of the VN are extremely below par from a adaptation perspective compared to the originals

The game might be too turn-based and gacha oriented for Asmongold to get into but I can see him really enjoying the Fate/Zero anime as an entry point into the series.

The thing is, this movie has both lore related stuffs and actual historical references. It’s beautiful.
And honestly, at this point you don’t need to necessarily play the game considering it has a manga adaptation (and claimed to be even better than the in-game story by most) for the first season of the game and two (technically three) of the 7 main arcs (technically 8) of the first season already got adapted into anime as well.

As for the rest of the season, well.. it’s a luxury of the players for now or you could just look for it on youtube
