For the belly rub thing, it depends on your flavor of cat ig all of my cats are rescues two were malnourished barn cats if you pet them long enough they just flop onto their backs for rubs, maybe it’s not all instinct because they taught our oldest cat to do that as well, personality may play in idk cats are funky
