Them going mad when you touch their belly isn’t instinctual… it is no different then if you walked up to a random stranger and started rubbing their belly. You’re going to get your butt kicked.

It is a trust thing but also depends on how the cat was raised. If you “play fight” that normally involves the belly and you’re training them to do that as they get older.

While playing Stray I noticed a glitch that might help you: in the Zurk room with the two levers on opposite sides of the moat, running out of the room despawns all Zurks.
