I saw jeanne and thought i should bring an avenger, but having a alter ego would have been so much better here. Still won though. despite making many mistakes like forgetting to change my mystic code from plugsuit for farming to a mystic code that actually would have helped.

Clearly what happened was Gudako used talk-no-justsu to arthur and the enemy master was too distraught from losing Astolfo to give any orders to anyone else.

Osakabehime and Enkidu were my goats for this one today, neither if them would die, just perpetually keep fighting, and either stack defence and hp buffs, or just fight until they got low and just full healed.

Got the exact same result after testing. Assuming Arthur is programmed to only be in a certain area/be on buff prevention duty? Possibly attacking the master from that tile would count as ‘going fowards’, which conflicts with holding the area. Then Asvatthaman doesn’t get triggered because Arthur’s alive, and Jeanne/Waver don’t trigger because Asvatthaman’s alive? No idea, but the AI seems like it has a very rigid flowchart of actions, and this happened get around all of them
