Hey, Jack. The Outside is where you, the stray cat, are from! Remember how there was an actual thunderstorm and sunlight at the beginning? The chapter was called “Outside the wall” and then you fell down inside the wall.

When it said inside the wall in the beginning it gave me either Maze Runner vibes or Divergent vibes because of the whole post apocalyptic design and being enclosed in a wall
