Im pretty sure the “light that leaked from a star and landed at our feet” is just the concept of sunlight? idk but thats what it seems like. The city is perpetually dark so it would make sense that they only know about sunshine from myth – they’re too low down

Fun fact cats claws are always so sharp because when they scratch stuff they literally pull old claws out for new surgically sharp ones cats are so coold if there’s reincarnation I wanna be a cat with a cool home
