Eyyyy, look at Sean immediately discrediting himself as a cat enthusiast in the first 5 minutes of the game with the jump statement. I’m not one (even though I own a cat) and even I know that cats absolutely linger before the jump – they look up, wiggling their butts for a little, and then jump.

Not gonna lie. So far, I don’t love the idea of the robot companion. I like the idea of a cat navigating the world on his own. Maybe encountering some other cat or other animal friends, maybe some humans who just see you as a cat and nothing more. The robot talking directly to you and giving you an inventory kinda takes away a lot of just the visual storytelling aspect, the self navigation, and just the whole charm of playing as a cat. In my opinion, at least.

Kinda underwhelmed by his commentary for this game so far, I’ve played it myself and it was great. For someone who likes to appreciate ambience and level designs he’s kinda just blowing through all of it 🤷‍♀️
