I feel the problem with Gil is his skills are very basic compared to new servants but also at the same time trying to buff him will be a big tightrope for lasagna to walk since his damage mod

Gilgamesh is cool but i am 99% certain we are gonna get Arjuna alter for thanksgiving, so it’s better to save quartz anyway.

I think he could use a buff to his variety. Gilgamesh is the “good at everything, master of none” character so maybe he could get a buff to Golden Rule into “The King’s Collection” which buffs his NP gain, C. Star drop and maybe a choice of anti-divine (because chains) and anti-servant. A charisma buff might work too but I’m not complaining sure of how that would work yet.

Gil is like a double barrel shotgun from several decades ago: highly potent, but dated. He’s reliable for doing big dick damage but he lacks the flair that practically every newer Servant than him does; he’s not exactly a metaphorical M4.

I remember reading or hearing somewhere that him having no survivability is rather on point for his personality, seeing as he tends to think everyone else can hardly scratch him, but it’s 2022 now and he could do with some defensive capability – even a 1-hit invincibility would do.

Treasury of Babylon EX and/or all his skills need Enhanced versions EMIYA Archer style buffs or even further than that. Or even an Extra Card buff on the level of Ishtarte

1) Add the Kid Gil/Shuten NP debuffs to FURTHER EMPHASIZE that he has EVERY NP inside his Treasury of Babylon. Failing that, skill 3 should provide anti-trait buffs and debuffs.

2) Increase the Enuma Elish hitcl counts. Seriously the dude is and ALWAYS has been competing with Tesla since year 1 before Babylonia.

3) Bring to the level of Tesla in his kit and give him the EMIYA Archer treatment where he gets all skills buffed as many times as necessary to catch up and surpass his competition.

4) Like Saber Artoria who lacks Avalon, Gilgamesh lacks a skill or NP effect or passive that shows he’s using his armour .

5) Defensive focus of skill 3 to FURTHER EMPHASIZE that he can use the Shields inside Gate of Babylon like he used them in Strange Fake and in Prisma Illya anime.

5) Make skill 3 apply random effects to give buff success rate supports something to do. Cas Gil ALWAYS has Saber Prince Lan Ling doing something for him in summer events as we’ve seen in the Vegas events. If they buff Lan Ling to have a team Buster buff as well then he can go well with Archer Gil.

6) Buff Cas Gil to have a team wide Buster buff as well as a team wide/targeted Crit Gather and Crit buff so that he can further enhance his Buster selves. It makes zero sense that Case Gil barely has enough in his kit to buff his Buster NP selves. Not even an NP damage or NP stage charge? Isn’t Cas Gil all about giving away his treasures in the form of Crit Stars? Should he further Give more selfish buffs like Nobukatsu does to NOBUNANGA? Cas Gil should be the quintisential Gil Archers buff that the Archer selves needed…

7) Give Gilgamesh the Humanoid Powemod as moat Servants are Humanoid anyways. Or give him a Powemod that exploits none humanoid traits too.

I got more ideas but this should be enough to start with… For now.

A reasonable buff would be to change from *Golden Rule* to *Sha Naqba Imuru* which would also give him *Anti-Purge Defense* , *Ignore Invincibility* and *NP Damage Up Boost* for 1 turn.

Another small buff is to change *Charisma* to *Gate of Babylon* which would also give an “on attack” buff, for 3 turns, that debuffs the enemy with *Def/Atk/NP down* (1 turn) this is to symbolize all of his Noble Phantasms that come from the gate.

But… alas, Lasagna is a small indie company with no money to work on these small changes. 🙃

His damage mod isn’t as relevant when farming nodes don’t include as many servants as they used to. Ishtar, Summer Jannu and Atalante basically cover all the bases of the modern state of the game.
