I have been specifically waiting for this video to say all this- I am glad we had some similar ideas, especially considering his card hits and his durable as everything armor. That said, I have seen all your Gilgamesh vids and your most common excuse why they wouldn’t buff Gilgamesh legitimately was because they didn’t want him to become broken. That is all well and good…until Lostbelt Servants showed up, especially THOSE Lostbelt Servants. You know the ones. So they went and shot themselves in the foot with a certain Berserker that can cleave realites in twain as well as his enemies or an Archer that can crit damage beyond most NPs and that is just two out of the entire lot! There is no excuse anymore.

I’d add invincibility for 1 turn + star gen 3 turns up to 100% (50% would be fine too) + 1 times 3 turns of buff immunity on the 2nd skill
While In the first one I’d add 50% crit dmg for himself for 3 turns
Since his np is so good he is usable even against bosses, so with these buffs he would become more self sufficient and more powerful .
Or if they are really crazy they make him a glass cannon and they just add dmg, which would be fine but I’d like to see some cool and unique buffs for him, like the BB extra attack buff

Another servant who’s really getting left behind is Karna. My boi’s languishing with 0 skill upgrades and only a single NP upgrade. His skills are awkward and really fall behind today’s standards for what a 5-Star should bring to the table. His first skill is borderline useless these days, his second skill is ok if really basic, and his third skill provides a real awkward NP gain with two mediocre crit star/damage buffs. His NP, while good, annoyingly applies the Buster resist debuff _after_ damage.

He’s still a good servant, but by God does he fall off compared to other 5-star lancers. Which is a damn shame because lore wise he’s supposed to be among the strongest servants available.

Increased np gain, star gen, and damage – hes basically the mascot of Fate apart from Emiya Cu or Artoria, he should be op/self sufficient

It won’t matter once I get him to 120! I got my 6th copy yesterday so now all I need is the bond points and grails. But please, Lasagna, do feel free to buff one of my best Servants until all the other Archers start crying. It’ll make my current investments even better:3

imo, Gilgamesh is a curious case; he is not a bad servant neither has lackluster skills, it’s just.. his skills are too simple and vanilla, and the great majority of the other Archers have received a giga ton of buffs. He is not bad, he IS GOOD, but the other Archers are getting BETTER.
For a little comparison, he is a good, reliable car that will no doubt get you to your destiny in time, but there are more new cars that will get you to the same destiny faster, easier, or more comfortably.

I was thinking of 50np gauge at the 2nd skill at first but now, I just want him to have the ability to erase all enemy buff and or buster card/defense reduction. Lol

As far as I am concerned, Gil needs 2 things: A guts and an Ignore Invincible. For everything else there is a friend support for. But I don’t fancy getting Sherlock instead of the Witch/Oberon to actually hit the target with him.
