Jack, if you see this, I do for your own interest look into Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

Regardless of the films, or whatever people think the franchise is like, the High Moon games are genuinely incredible and they tick a lot of the boxes you like. Large scale, perspective, lighting, it’s all very grand and beautiful, give it a shot.

Honestly even for the amazing environments alone I’d wanna play through this entire game myself, the different cities and all the apartments and areas you can explore all look so gorgeous it’s unbelievable

The ending implies that they plan to make a continuation of the game if it’s popular enough. That’s the vibe I get at least. I hope they do. There’s so much more to explore in the walls and out. They could sequel OR prequel it

(WARNING: Negative vibes here. And maybe my current unrelated stress added to the frustration so I may be exaggerating even if I don’t feel like it rn)
EDIT: also I gotta get this off my chest : Am I just unconsciously projecting or is Jack hiding a bad mood in this Let’s Play ? I hope not I hope he’s not feeling unwell those days… I’m probably projecting. Even if I had a doubt last time before he told us yep he wasn’t doing good again so idk
I’ll stop blabbering now

I liked it, but I’m still a bit frustrated about some recurring bugs and (mostly) the scenaristic incoherencies
Like I’m sure the Zurks were supposed to play a bigger part than this, especially the big ol’ eyes that just… were there and that was it ? And the wire fence limits…like a cat can climb you know ? it would have been smarter logically speaking to put smooth walls limits like glass panels if you wanted to see through anyway I guess
and the end was so predictable and…I’m just frustrated because those things were clearly rushed while others like the décor got a lot of details and idk so much potential that wasn’t fully exploited probably because the directions were like ok programmers just focus on the pretty and just make sure the gameplay is playable oH FUDGE we ran out of time ok cut out the bossfight with the eye and the uppertown- just make the scenario shorter
