I think the robots that had personalities were the same as the drone so they were people that got uploaded to the network and downloaded to a robot but none of them can remember that, which is why you see the more traditional robots at the end.

Honestly loved the game, watched every video all the way through, but, bro, you shat on everyone’s immersion by calling out how it ended, them even being like “called it”. Well no shit, but you entirely 100% ruined that ending.

For anyone curious: pretty sure the Goro² thing is a reference to the Japanese onomatopoeia “goro goro”, which is the sound of something rolling or rumbling, I think, like thunder or a barrel or a big log or something like that. Good name for a club.

A little fun fact some of the names of the NPC Robots you find throughout the game are some of that names of the people who worked on the game. A little cool detail. 🙂
