This game is most certainly a show not tell commentary on society and the eventual downfall of humanity. The way that the downtrodden, poor members of the hierarchy literally live in slums, close to the disease but yet endure and protect one another and have so much personality and are so individual and yet the highest, richest people living in the walls of the city at the very top are bland and have no personality and care not for the people below them and the entire time had the ability to save everyone and yet…didn’t… The rich get richer, funding and making money from the corporation that developed the bacterium to destroy trash likely profited from it for a very long time until it became sentient and killed everything. Though in real life we are also developing a similar thing, I think it’s a statement on how much industry is ruining the world and how humanity will eventually face it’s comuppance it so deserves for all of its greed and nativity toward the well-being of the planet. It will endure long after we are gone and all our damages will be undone through time but yet, we will not be around to see it as the destruction we so caused would consume us all in the end. And yet, this is just a silly game about a cat and is entirely devoid of human life and yet is so closely resembling real life and has such a close parallel. We need more games like this.

Anyone else notice at the end the cat’s eyes flash twice with green light at the end? What if B-12 somehow uploaded a small part of himself into the cat & is also saying goodbye to the player with the cat: 1:45:45-1:45:51

It never really said B12 would die in all, he’d just, enter the system. What if the flickering at the end hinted either a second game
Or that. B12 would become the city system?

im hoping that the open ended finale of the game means there might be a sequel in the future, maybe one where you get to enjoy more of being a cat in the wild and also seeing the companions finally returning to the surface and helping them build their new home or seeing how they create a new society

In the last episode in ant village at the very bottom floor by the red flowers, one of the robots says “some may call this junk, but i call them treasures” or something like that, alot of the shopkeepers in skyrim say that.
