Pure theory, but I think that not only is the language in this game fully translatable, but I think that whenever you come across paintings of cats in the streets or in houses, it’s like religious nuts painting messages on the walls talking about some savior like a prophecy bringing an end to the Sentries and shining the light of the outside on their city after 2 and a half million years.

This game made the national news in the US. They were showing people’s cats avidly watching them play and trying to interact with the Stray. 👍

My question is: is he going to see his cat “family” ever again? Because he just seems alone now (other then the fact the robots can leave, I think) or did they die or something (did not watch the other video so might of missed something) really good game though and the little meow at the end for b-12 made me wanna cry.

It’d be interesting if they did do a sequel or a dlc like some people are saying, seeing Ginger reunite with his colony, the robots explore the Outside, and whether or not B-12 jumped into the network again and survived like some people are speculating would all be interesting. I could especially see a sequel with a prologue chapter where Ginger reunites with his colony, and then the perspective switches to Momo and Clementine (and maybe the other Outsiders too). Stray got people in the door with the cute cat, but Stray 2 could probably work without the cat protagonist (though if B-12 did survive, then the cat could easily stick with the Outsiders for a whole game and find his colony at the end, which would save them the trouble of having to figure out how to make interesting gameplay for the robots)

The cat doesn’t need to say a word, yet he displays so much emotion in his actions. The way he cuddles up towards B-12 as he falls shows he really did care about his little friend.
