What if the Companions are not Mimicking Humans, but were once human themselves?

Interesting isn’t it that the Companions Robots at the end have no personality? They are just Robots doing as they were programmed. Unlike all the Companions we met prior.

What if more than one human transferred their being into another body like B-12? We saw another of those devices used to transfer consciousness in Antvillage. There was a Robot body beside B-12’s pod, we can assume something went wrong with the transfer and he ended up in the machines and not the body he had prepared. We also know from B-12 that memory can definitely be affect in the process, that plus 100’s of years would explain why no one would remember being human.

Did anyone else notice the cats eyes blinked blue at around 1:45:48? It happened twice and I don’t know if it was a lighting glitch or something more going on
