Been watching this with my little boy. He’s so intrigued and loved every part. He doesn’t like the bubble bugs though.

I played this a few months after my own lil’ ginger fluffball passed away and it was honestly really hard for me to play at some points. The noises and movements they make are just so accurate (even when they’re in pain, which broke my heart). I really appreciated all the moments that had nothing to do with completing the game itself and were all about just ‘being a cat’, like scritching some carpet or finding a peaceful corner to curl up in. I admit I held the controller to my ear to hear the purring every time I found one, I swear they made it pulse like a heartbeat too. This game brought me to tears several times, but I also found it quite cathartic. Perhaps it sounds overly sentimental, but it did feel like I got to have one last adventure with my boy. I’m glad that when I think of him, I’ll also think of this journey.

The thing i love about this game is that you are a small cat in a big world. The world and life of the people dont stop for you, you are watching and learning what happened and what is still happening. Your goal is to just go back outside, back home, they want to leave, some of them dont want to leave. Its just so… first of all refreshing to see something so new and well made when thats not something you see a lot these days in the gaming world, but interesting through the eyes of something that is not really a “main character” in the full story and lore of the game and the city. I did not think this game would be like it was either and I’m so glad it is. Its so good and i hope to see more like this. Not really a Stray 2 continuing from this story, but maybe something different with the same concept. They already knocked it out of the park.. i just wonder if they expanded on it.. how much more out of the park they could knock it.

Part of me would hope that there might be stilled be people but in very small population and they learned from our mistakes

I think cats like boxes because it reminds them of dens, we had a wicker basket igloo cat bed and my cats would always be inside it, it may just be my cats but I think it’s instinctual.

I’ve been at my dad’s for the past 5 weeks and my cat is at my mom’s, I’m with my dad for 1 more week and I can’t wait to see him again, this game along with Jack talking about BB makes me miss him more that ever!

That ending is amazing yet depressing, ur best friend basically died right infront of you and you probably never saw ur cat family or the others in the cities ever again…
