I just realised Stray is like Undertale.
You’re a cat trying to get back to the Outside- You’re a human trying to get back to the surface. You meet robots, run from a few things, and get companions- You meet monsters, (pacifist route) spare a few things, and get companions. You have a little robot fella by your side to help you out- You have a skeleton that you can call at all times to help you out (and a lizard monster at one point). You have to hack into all kinds of stuff and what not to proceed- You need to solve puzzles in order to proceed.
Kinda similar.

Normally I don’t really give a shit about spoilers and won’t hesitate to play a game after watching (sometime multiple) let’s plays of it. But I am so glad I got the opportunity to play this game before I watched anyone play it. Completely blew me out of the water, I was awe struck by the scale and story. Beautiful game, enjoyable content, thank you <3

This game was honestly genius on the developers’ part. They lured everyone in with “look, cute cat :)” and then proceeded to tell such a cool apocalyptic story that had very little to do with the actual cat itself. I doubt it would have gotten this much traction if the cat wasn’t involved, and it really deserves the attention it’s getting.
